Stefan, I have been a collector of French knives for over 28 years, and I really enjoy your videos. Your video production, photography, choice of music and food is outstanding. Keep up the great work! I did try to find an online dealier who carried the Lagioule Village knives and I could not find any in france, UK or the US. I finally contacted them directly, since they don't even have an online shop on their web site. Frank
Oh my God. I wish it had not taken so long for me to find your channel. Your videos are so entertaining compared to other channels. Please keep up the spectacular work !
Well i must say that yours is hands down the best cutlery related channel on the tube....found it only few days ago but every video is full of useful informations and really pleasant to watch. Thank you Stefan your work is great...cheers! :)
;-) Peace Stephan
Hi Stefan. Great to see a video review from you my friend. I am pleased to see that you have not lost your touch! Beautiful knives, I like them both. Very nice interpretations of the traditional design. Best wishes, Mark.
Excellent; and pleasure to see another of your videos! The knives are classic and iconic. I have a small collection of Laguiole style knives; although this particular make is new to me. It was enjoyable to learn about them. As always, the production quality is outstanding. Thanks for the new video Stefan!
Hey Stephan! Another great vid, I always love your openings! I'd love to see a video just about the meals and snacks that you prepare with your knives.
I enjoy the food preparation introductions to piano music. It's all very zen and soothing to me. It's the task most of my folders see on a day-to-day basis.
I adore my two Laguiloe Aubrac knives, they are a class apart. (one is Sandvik 12C27 with Camel Bone handle, and the other is Pistachio wood handle and a T12 Forged blade)
Moin Stefan, deine Intros machen Appetit.
I inherited a strange Laguiole knife from my grandfather. It has beautiful black and red woods on the handle. The horsefly/bee is a bit simple, but does not seem welded on. It also does not have any letters or serial numbers anywhere, other then Laguiole on the blade. It seems to me to be decent quality, but i don't have an eye for it.
Hi. I' m about to buy a laguiole, from Robert David. I havnt order one yet. Do you have any opinion of his knifes? Anyway, like your rewievs of knife. You have a simular taste to mine :-) Sven
Stefan i have a family member visiting Greece in a few months, can you recommend for purchase any knife styles or makers unique to that country? Thanks!
Beautiful knive, i'm so proud to be french when i see it. Thanks, it is very pleasant to watch a video of you, good work. Me, I have also a "Le cevenol" by R.David (who create "L'epicurien") , i had always with me ( with a victorinox huntsman ^^) , i eat with it, i hate knives made in china! With a good food, a good knives! (sorry for my english). Bien le bonjour de la belle France!
Beautiful knives and FOOD! Still looking for the older Laguiole Droit with the willow leaf pattern blade> Sandvik steel would be fine with a Juniper handle. I keep looking for an affordable model and a company that ships to the USA. French knives and carving tools are not readily available in the USA.
I didn't mean literally, just saying might want to cuff your fingers back when cutting, even if you have 10+ years of experience with knives. Love you videos.

Hallo Stephan!
Hi Stefan. Great to see a video review from you my friend. I am pleased to see that you have not lost your touch! Beautiful knives, I like them both. Very nice interpretations of the traditional design. Best wishes, Mark.
Hi Mark! I'm glad you still remember me. ;-)
Why is it I always come for a knife video and I always leave hungry and salivating? Cheers ;-)
Very nice review. You also have a nice voice for narration. Truly a joy to watch and listen.

Thank you! I'm glad I was able to introduce you to a new Laguiole brand.
Stefan I always enjoy your videos. Beautiful knives and a great presentation. Thanks.
Thank you!
Hey Stephan! Another great vid, I always love your openings! I'd love to see a video just about the meals and snacks that you prepare with your knives.
Thank you! The intros are always the most fun to make. ;-)
I really enjoy your videos, excellent quality both knives and the rich history.
Thank you!
A good, detailed presentation, thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Great review Stefan. So nice to see your videos coming up. Lets hope there'll be many more.
I never thought I'd see a classic knife like that with a CF handle. That's very forward thinking of the manufacturer to produce such a knife.
I enjoy the food preparation introductions to piano music. It's all very zen and soothing to me. It's the task most of my folders see on a day-to-day basis.
I absolutely love your videos

An excellent video, as always. Stefan. They are both handsome knives, but the stag/damascus one is particularly fine :-)
Thank you, Jim! I'm glad you haven't forgotten about me. ;-)
Wonderful review! I love the laguiole design. This is a knife style that I can enjoy collecting. Thanks for this video.
Thanks for watching!
The perfect way to spend my lunch break -- with an old friend from another continent and learn something about knives.
Thanks for stopping by, my friend! I'm so glad RUclips preserved your old username (ruclips.net/user/MrJimbofox). ;-)
It also seems pretty old. Maybe 40-60 years old?
Great job as always.
wonderful
well done... as usual ! thanks
I enjoyed this review, very much. Only in the last several weeks have I discovered the Laguiole knife. A lucky find.
Those really are beautiful knives.
that is a work of art man
Zwei tolle Messer, danke fürs Zeigen,LG Christoph
Vielen Dank fürs Vorbeischauen!
Excellent as always Stefan. And if they ship to the U.S. this may be my first Laguiole knife.

I'd have to take a close look at your knife in order to tell you something about its origin.
I could send an e-mail with some pictures?
Sure. Here's my email: stefan.schmalhaus@gmail.com
Beautiful knives Stefan.

Hello 🙂
How can you buy from their site?
How can you place an order?
Thank you.
Please contact them directly.
Stefan i have a family member visiting Greece in a few months, can you recommend for purchase any knife styles or makers unique to that country? Thanks!
I'm not aware of any traditional Greek knife except for the Cretan dagger.
Ok cool, thanks! :)
brilliant!!!
can I have the name of the knife

Sod the knives... lovely as they are, can I come round for lunch please?
Thank you for good information!
Perfect review
Thank you!
perfect little picnic knife with corkscrew
top notch
So funny, when American pocket knives are presented no one is ever showing how well they cut food. 😂 That’s what knives are good for!
Oh my. I just looked at the price of the laguiole's and the prices are high.
mmm, love Ossau-Iraty sheeps cheese, and radishes, drool, not bad knife either
❤️

Schade, dass dich die Messer nicht interessieren.
Laguiole ist nicht mein Fall. Ich bin eher so der Victorinox-Typ. Die Schweizer sprechen auch das bessere Französisch ;)
👍🇵🇱
Your handwork isn't that of a chef. Food looks good though.
I'm not a chef.
I didn't mean literally, just saying might want to cuff your fingers back when cutting, even if you have 10+ years of experience with knives. Love you videos.
Perfect review
