Heat could have done it. But it was Unbound that got post launch support instead.
@@jeremiahparker5908yeah. EA really doesn't like Payback because it got tons of backlash and not that much money so they give Ghost less resources to make Heat. And even though Heat was pretty good, they probably wanted it to be a one-night hit, a jackpot. But since it wasn't the case they immediately pull the kll switch on Ghost. It's really sad. The game has so much potential.
But hey, at least they're giving a chance with Unbound and so far it's pretty dam good

Back in my day playing nfs underground on ps2 we didn't have no fancy drift meeter telling us what to do, either you got good or you died in the streets!

when i tried the new drift tires all i could think about is drift trains and tandems. the elite drifters on Heat do it, this will birth a new drifting community on unbound
tandems are kinda difficult with the ghosting, but its super satisfying

I'm curious about this game since I like the style, but I gotta know if there's fomo from not doing the speed passes. Do you actually miss out on acquiring cars and whatnot if the passes expire?
you dont fully miss out, you just gotta pay for them then. they have DLC called "catch up packs"
Unfortunately, I must wait for a patch fix for the invisible UI.
Is the drag events in career mode or just online

Not as good as the hayeduce drift but it is an improved to the vanilla drift physics.
I was skeptical before Vol. 7 release, but after trying new Drag and Drift events, I was completely shocked by how good they are. And that's from the small team that left to keep this game alive!
Huge thanks to Criterion! Now I'm waiting for more.

a miracle budget build that treats me well. i would not recommend anything except the 3060gtx (graphics card, only actual good part i have, rest is budget sh!t tbh)

the funny thing tho is im seeing the bugatti hitting 600k on takahashi special, its honestly all gonna come down to skill. alot more balanced and i love it 🤙

tbh its only 1 set of wheels that have a "spinner effect" its like the turbofans they showed us earlier this week that look like spinner wheels. other than that its just digital animated wheels

I don't like the lane changing mechanics from drag. I would have preferred it to be the same as NFS 2015. I'm playing with a steering wheel and drag is for me unplayable.
dude i agree, i feel like it switches lanes for you and ends up throwing you into traffic, i stick to drifting tbh

I'm glad the Drifter's got what they needed, but now us auto players got the short end of the stick.... I won't drag race now and all the new a class races only let u use stock cars... I love u buster but Imo this update is dog water😂😂😂😂

Drifters didn't even get what they wanted either only the casuals did because drifting is fucking dog water too now

Still think Payback had the best drift physics of the reboot era.
I played 2 playlists and quit. This is a FAR CRY from NFS undergrounds drag racing.
The lane changing is broken.
Press the input once? might change 1 lane. Maybe 2. Or maybe not at all.
Sometimes it cant pick and will hug 2 lanes. Slapping everything along the way.
Perfect shifting is also a joke. Shift on green and it might give you a boost. But most likely wont.
The last nail in the coffin was that my car is SLOWER while drag racing then it is in free roam.
Id rather tie a rope to my zipper and jump off a building with my junk out. 1/10. I know its EA but do better.
