Im watching all of these and they are awesome! I know its not exactly the same, but once i drove from Calais to the Vienne region in a first gen smart car on a bank holiday with £10 of petrol in the tank. It was range anxiety, but with petrol. Hardly anywhere was open and i limped from place to place trying to find petrol. Freewheeling down hills and just touching the accelerator. You make me want to do this in an Ami!
That car park where you charged with them cars in the middle of nowhere is likely a cruising spot and dogging at night lol I’ve been watching all your videos your a brave man but I would say it’s a great thing to do good luck
Yep, lot of those here in Ireland, sometimes with bus stops too and frequently with twin chargers for EVs. Downside is they are slow chargers and first vehicle on them will generally be there all day.
And ah ive seen that Castle island place before , a youtuber called Exploring with Josh went there ans actually slept there overnight Mont Saint Michel its called , very extortionate hotel prices though he paid $700 a night to stay there but in his case he has 10 million subscribers on youtube and has a few million in the bank lol
Ahh . I went there a few years ago - and it seemed a bit too commercialised - so this time i just looked at it from a distance.- Some RUclipsrs must be loaded.
@@Rob1964b Yeah I actually Knew Josh before his channel gig huge back in 2013 he only had like 700 subscribers but he was one of the first on RUclips to do Urban exploration and exploring abandoned buildings , he now has 10 million subscribers and also hooks up with Exploring with fighters they are Uk based and famous too though if I had their cash I would not pay £700 a night for a hotel it’s just waste of money
Another youtube who has an AMI took the front end off to check his suspension as he heard a knocking and the top mount had broke off the chassis as the chassis is very badly welded together , you would have thought paying £8 grand for a car would at least get you a safe car ? I think Citroen took the quad laws too serious as a quad dont require the same safety features as a road car so drive careful mate , its good the Ami made it on this trip maybe you got one they built well ? not a Friday car lol as a US friend of mine said never buy a Friday car as thats the day the factory staff slack off lol
Is the UK version of Ami locked to display miles for range and mph for speed? I would think It's more convenient to switch to km and km/h, to match local signs. However, not too difficult to memorize a few speed limit conversations, and if you're used to thinking miles of range, it might be better to stick with that.
I don't think that charging from the "wrong" socket is a problem, when the other isn't working anyway. Off course, others might get annoyed if they turn up, and are unavailable to reach and don't understand why you use the "wrong" socket.

I have the Opel Rocks👌
They do car sharing, you will see cars parked at many junctions and roundabouts in France.

Thankfully we don't have 24 hour opening over here (yet)... 😊

Do not take Ibis , look out for Logis, better value for money if you ask me and you support small hotel owners who are dedicated.

Yeah but there's also a fair few Ami's out there done 20,000 km + and still going strong.
@@Rob1964b Definitely must depend what mood they were in the day they build them ?

I shouldn’t bother indicating in the middle of nowhere with no-one around, save electricity!
