Any mom who looks perfectly put together is casually crying herself to sleep at night .. I wish I would have spent more time with my kiddos instead of trying to make my life look prefect to others because they grow so quick and those snuggles won’t last long . The laundry will be there another day , the dishes can get done tomorrow but that sweet boy will only be little like this for so long ! You are doing amazing Lexie ❤️

Rosy cheeks sometimes can indicate teething, low grade fever or tummy distress. And all can be present with any combination of the three. You are a great mom, putting baby first, nothing else is as important. Good for you mama❤

Hi Lexie, I was very overwhelmed with the same. It's like every time I'd turn around there were messes. Something that has helped me is just having less. My husband and I have really decluttered and gotten rid of lots of things. We now only have 3 plats, 3 bowls and 3 saucers. The same amount of mugs and cups and a few spoons and forks. Having less has made me life a lot easier because there's less to make a mess with.

First time viewer and I loved your video. From a mom of 4 (all grown) I can tell you the messes will just have to coexist with you for a few years. Try to let it go. One day (and that day will arrive sooner than you expect) you will once again have control over your domain. Until then keep doing what your doing - snuggle and play with your sweet, smart baby boy. I'm a homeschooling mama of 7 and I'm not sure if any day goes according to plan for me. 😜🤣 God has brought me a long way from my perfectionism and learning to lean on Him for my schedule. I agree with you about some of those dil video's so I've quit watch so many of them. But today just snuggle with your little guy that's better then spending time on a computer. He is so adorable.
I use a splat mat and dump it every time she gets done eating and wash it when it looks nasty! To me it’s easier than sweeping for sure.

I really like the video Azariah is getting big and those cheeks are so adorable. I know how hard it is to manage everything and some days are really overwhelming. I have 2 girls 6 and 3 years old so they are constantly making some sort of mess and with OCD, anxiety and hormones it's often times super hard to manage and that's when our prayers can help us with the God's will in our lives he can help us through even our darkest days I know how you feel and we each have different feelings and real struggles on certain days or sometimes in alot of our days I like to play for King and Country the song shoulders or God only knows and I try to play different religious music Toby Mac has a variety of good songs Elements and City On Our Knees. I am glad you are doing these videos and I am glad to see Azariah he is so adorable and amazing.
Aww I’m so happy you shared this video! My baby is 10 months old and whilst I plan a schedule everyday - a little someone knocks it off course 😂 unsettled days are the hardest and they overwhelm me! It could be his little teeth coming up xx

0:44 LOL, little A-man is just chillin' with his hands under his head. Looks like he's resting under the old apple tree at a picnic. He's so stinking cute! I love how patient Donut is with his rough play. He seems to love his kitty. He's also doing a great job of using his hands to point, wave, and sign.
A cheap electric sweeper has been helpful for cleaning up after meals . I have a 6 month old , 3 year old and 7 year old and there is ALWAYS food on the ground under each of their seats . The sweeper helps a ton and when they are a little older they can help ‘sweep’ 😊

I’m ordering one of the Bapron splash mats for under the high chair that I can also use for indoor water play. I figured I could just pick it up and shake it outside.

My dogs do most of the clean up for me, I just go over with a quick swifter mop after they’ve eaten all the food😂

Oh my gosh he's so cute! I also taught my son baby sign language. He's now 10yrs old. His name is Azariah also. ♡♡
To help with clean up after my son eats everyday I bought a splat mat off of Amazon for 15 bucks thats machine washable & has grippies on the bottom so it doesn’t slide. Large enough for fun activities like sensory or art too 😇 it’s been an absolute life saver. I do not miss sweeping 10 million times a day 😂

Also, several Mom’s I know are using the teether pop off Amazon and their babies are getting teething relief. Not sure if you have tried something like this.
“The days are long and the years are short”, comes to mind when I see a tired Momma. Hang in there. You are doing an amazing job of figuring out what works for you and your family.
A waterproof shower curtain under the high chair that we shook off outside and legit, hosed down in the shower and hung it up so it could dry when it was really gross saved my sanity. And for some reason, they like frozen peas. I don't know if he's old enough for them or not but they help a lot with molars too.

We did BLW with our daughter (she is 6 years old now) and also did it with our son (he is 13 months old) and was the best as it cuts out on having to do baby food. He has mummums for snacks and such but he is a garberator. The only thing we found that he didn't like was cabbage from cabbage rolls.. otherwise he eats any and all things.. lol! Love those squishy cheeks! I always tell my husband that our son just has the most kissable cheeks ever I'm sure it's the same for other moms and their babies
Hey Lexie, thank you for being so real in your videos. I was wondering he’s maybe having a reaction to eggs. I saw people mention his red cheeks might be caused from teething. I’m an NTP, so food is always a possibility that comes to mind. Eggs could be causing him to feel uncomfortable with digestion like you mentioned earlier. Praying for you all!
Oh my goodness I NEVER thought of that. I don’t give him eggs often so I’m not sure but I’ll cut them out and see!

That's not my life either those perfect other mums I only see on here! some days are really hard, my 10month old is going through attachment phase and if I don't get up and get my stuff done before my husband leaves for work and the older kids are gone to school I can't go toilet or eat till someone is home. She won't sleep without me next to her so even sneaking away while she naps doesn't work... I know its a phase and will pass soon but man some days are rough!

Every day....multiple times....sweeping up after meals and wiping down the high chair and floor🥴 it’s my least favorite thing to do. No real way around it though so I push through lol

We call the dogs the clean up crew 😂 we keep them put up while the baby eats bc than it’s just dog feeding the whole time 😆 but once the baby is done the clean up crew comes

SO MESSY but my baby eats better than most toddlers so it’s totally worth it!
I usally when my son wakes up at 8:30AM I get up he is playing with his toys while make his breakfast then he eats breakfast and I clean my kitchen wash my dishes no dishwasher then when he is done I usally eat breakfast while he plays if not i dry and put away my dishes so you just have to find a routine and Yeah usually the people that I watch on RUclips make it seem like it's all perfect but i know its all edit and you say he is not feeling is he constipated since he dont want to eat and how many naps does he take it should be 1 because if they take more then 1nap and more then 1 hrs at night they wont go to bed when its bedtime
Try filling up your empty oil diffuser bottle with water as you can get a couple more days of use from it.
Girl get you a hand vacuum! Can get them super cheap on amazon and it’s the best. Just bend over and suck it all up, put back on charger and dump every couple days!
