My husband and I are getting 2 females from the same litter in a few weeks! We can't wait to bring our fur babies home! We've done a ton of research and found this breed to be a perfect fit for our family. They are so adorable and I love how affectionate they are and the fact that they are great with children because we have 3 kids in our family. Thankfully, there will always be someone at home with them so they won't ever have to worry about missing us. ❤️😊
Normally, getting two of the same genders is a bad idea. They may fight. A LOT (especially females). And getting two from the same litter is also not a great idea. They may become more bonded with each other than with you! (Just a suggestion though)
I Bought my son 1 last year and, let me tell you these dogs are great I love him and they’re so easy to train this was our first dog ever and we don’t have any regrets great family dog
My dog was very fearful of people. Especially men. She barks intensively at my husband every morning and when he comes and goes. Also , having any peace when company comes is impossible. Any suggestions? I bought a anti bark device that worked for about a week. Other than that she soiled my antique sofa twice. I am having an expensive recover done. She was a breeder dog prior to getting her.
They’re the best therapy dogs, but man sometimes they’re so smart and they can get away with a lot of stuff lol. I have one and now I want another one so he can have a lil friend to play with.
I got a 4 yr old GD. She is very friendly with me. She hates my husband. Potty training has been up and down. She destroyed my antique sofa. Having company especially children was a barking nightmare. Almost any new sound is a good reason for her to bark. She passed obedience class with flying colors. She is good with me.
Would dog breeds that need high attention be content with just sleeping on my lap or my desk if I work on my computer at home for most of the day? Please help share your experience because I've never had a dog before. I have a very demanding, long-hours desk job. I can get them exercise 20-30 mins a day.
I'm getting a 13 week old pup tomorrow, my other half is out of town for work and will return the following week, which leaves me with a problem, for one week or should I say 5 days, I have to leave her alone for no more then 8 hrs... I bought her a play pen and plan on filling it up with lots of toys and those toys that u can put treats in, and the artificial grass tray... im also gonna get her up early in the morning to let her run around and play for an hour to tire her out, hoping she sleeps most of the time... I tried to get her a week later when my other half returns but it was impossible... Any other suggestions???
I’ve had a GSD for over 5 years. Recently she has seemed sad and was sleeping quite a lot. I’ve been considering adopting another dog in a smaller, non shedding breed. I chose a mini golden doodle. Molly and Harper have been together now for over a month and are nearly inseparable. Harper, our little female spitfire is adorable. She’s intelligent, loving, and occasionally noisy. She and molly keep our house jumping.
I am a college student at Rocky Mountain Art & Design trying to make 3D animation as a full time career. yesterday I recently was picking out a litter of mini goldendoodle to have for my own pet, with my family supporting of course. I am always home almost everyday as I do online school assignment, I do have 2 other dogs but they are more of a family as they would choose whoever they wanna lay down. crazy's i can tell you but lovable. next month I would be able to pick up my mini goldendoodle for my own and thankfully it's on a Sunday. I am looking for like guides about more of those type of breed and honestly the therapy part is actually gonna help me a lot as I do a lot of work everyday to the point I tend to stress out. Music usually helps me relax but thoughts get to me of course. I will have to take care of it of course but nothing hard really. One of our other dog name Roxy, when she was a lil pup I had to take good care for you and it was a tad hard as I was in Middle School at the time but I got the hang of it so it shouldn't be really hard. The worry part is their jealousy...I'm gonna have lots of fun qwq I am the only person at the house on weekdays as my family have work and school(my younger brother goes to school while my mom and dad go to work) but I do take care of the knuckleheads in our house haha!

They are expensive. We paid $1500 for our's, but you forget about the price when you bond with it. Love this dog, but he's only eight weeks old.
