Nice explanation, calm and easy to understand, thank you! Can you guys make a video about the dolphin kick? It's the one I'm having a hard time trying to do it 🤧
I’ve tried for about a month, twice a week I practice one hour. Had been difficult because I had fear, so I guess I must practice more. Is usual the water get in to the mouth ?
Hi I’ve just started swimming again so not very fit!! I was breathing on four!! I’ve watched your video and you say two … I was getting abit panicked with my breathing near the end and getting what feels likes pins and needles in my hands will this stop if I do two ? Thanks
Hi Sharon, four is too long yes. Consider this, you wouldn’t run and hold your breath so why swim and hold your breath. Make sure you are blowing your air out underwater to control your breathing and you’ll find yourself a lot more relaxed and ready to take your breath in when you lift your head. 2 or 3 strokes per breath with front crawl. I prefer 2 when I’m really exercising but 3 is fine too (and some people prefer it). Try it out and see which is best for you, let me know how it goes 😁
@@AaquaticsUK thanks for reply !! I breathe out underwater .. also watched your video on breaststroke esp legs as I feel I’m not getting anywhere , I did try it with the kick board but held it in front of me and kept wavering from side to side but will try it where you suggested !! You make the videos easy to understand so I can go away and test it out Thankyou
Depends on how many area you do per breath. As I mentioned, I teach beginners to breathe every 3 arms. When you transition to a pool workout, breathing every two arms will speed you up and be more efficient (and you will breath to one side only). 3 is good, therefore you’ll breath to both sides. Hope that helps! 👍
Nice explanation i am a beginner, i m struggling to breath second time how can i exhale? First breath has to be easy. I don't know please explain. I know i m holding my breath after taking my first breath
Thank you for the comment. Make sure you are fully exhaling underwater, and breathing in when you lift your head out of the water. Practice standing still, exhaling for three seconds underwater (blowing bubbles) and lift your head to breath. If you are still struggling let me know and I’ll make a video for you to explain how to practice 😁 good luck!!
@@AaquaticsUK Yes please make a video, I'm still struggling, I feel like after I exhale fully in the water, and I turn to the side, I don't have enough time to breathe 😢
I will do! Give us a couple of weeks and I’ll get one out for you. But in the meantime, make sure you are extending your arm full and pulling all the way back. That will give you enough time to fully inhale and also benefit your stroke by pulling back more water behind. Let me know how you get on and follow us for your video 👍
Thank you for your kind reply, I did standing practice for breathing that time I can do easily, at swimming freestyle timing is a big problem still I am struggling please please make an easy breathing video sir, it will be useful for me
Hey, if I’m understanding correctly you are breathing every two strokes to your right? Which is absolutely fine, that’s how I teach my more advanced swimmers as it mimics the natural breathing rhythm of your body during exercise. I prefer to swim that way too. However, as always it’s about finding what works for you and your end goal 👍
@@AaquaticsUK No, i am actually breathing in every stoke. I hope that’s not incorrect. I have tried to breath every two strokes but somehow not being able to do so.
Ahh I see. I’d aim to see if you can try to stretch it to two strokes per breath. So right arm(breathe), left arm, right arm(breathe). Blowing out your air underwater. If you need some tips or exercises to practice this let me know 👍
So that is more of an advanced technique and yes can be useful in pool conditions. This is more of a broad explanation and something I teach beginners to be able to sight themselves in the pool. I will mention this advanced technique in our future advanced series 👍
Technically both. You start with the shoulder initiating the pull. The elbow bends and helps get your hand moving and the shoulder brings the power. I will do a video on high elbow pull - but that will be part of our swimming advanced series. Thanks 👍
very brilliantly explained, watched so many videos in different languages but this one i really got what i was looking for ❤
Thank you very much! 😁
Thank you very much for telling us about breathing technique.

Is it good to breathe both sides or only side ?

My big problem is exhaling under water
Hi.
I am breathing on the right side and have to take a breath on each stroke i.e. everytime i rotate my right hand i have to breath. Is that okay ?
