Thank you for the great information, it's a real pitty that because of technology we're going to loose the smell of smoke and hellish damage created by Dynamite or C4 just love the "good old days"
Great video! I have one of these exact safes. But it is very thoroughly bonded inside a low fixed cupboard shelf. So a magnet cannot be used. But didn't know how cheap and nasty they were inside! Or that that pick tool is so readily available. By the way, that is one hefty magnet
OMG... I had tried to open my safe for 2 mos. I tried the "drop it on the floor routine" and walaa... The door opened hahaha. I can't believe it. THANKS
wait u dropped it on the floor and it opened?
Very cool way to open it!!! Awesome!!!
drop the safe on the floor wile turning the knob. The impact will cause the pin in the solenoid to drop releasing the latch.
Or just smack it with a rubber mallet also can do the trick...
Awesum video & great job. Thx JP.🌰💪🌰
It works your my faverot youtuber
Get some strips of rubber and place it under where the magnet would go, also attach a piece of aluminum against the door and reattach the plunger. The magnet no longer opens the safe.
That would probably work to stop the magnet but it will not stop the lock picking which takes seconds to open one of these type safes, probably better to just use a more secure safe if you value what you keep in it.
Those safes you can thump the top with your fist a few times and whilst doing that turn the handle and it unlocks.
You're the 10th YT channel I've seen using the lock pick tool. I ordered them I can't get it to work. It won't open the safe, won't open a cheap cabinet I have for storing paint and kick knacks, it won't open the tool box or any other lock I have that is tubular. Every channel literally shows just sticking it in and a little wiggle and done. Tried with 7 tensioning bands down to 0 tensioning bands. Either I am missing something or I have a defective set. Any hints or tricks on the use of the lockpick set?
OK first i do not know yr lockpicking skill level i assume your starting out which is cool we all start at step one... Like any lock pick set it taks a ton of practice before you start popping locks. When i first used a tubular lock pick set i could not open locks with it either but in time it comes , watch lots of unedited videos. Tension is key light tension lighter better. The tubular pick set will not open all tubular locks ,learning which locks it will open also takes time and practice, keep practicing light tension..good luck
@@JollyPeanut Thanks for the tip I will give it a try. My skill level is somewhere below rank amateur. meaning I have never picked a lock in my life. I saw so many vids of the Huk set being used and literally opening locks in seconds. It isn't quit like that. It more like...try, reset the pins, try again. take a bands off, try again, cuss a bit, try some more and repeat the process with the same results LOL
Nicely demonstrated my friend😊👍😎👍👍😎
Super video
Thanks buddy 👍
Wow and thanks
OMG so easy
Hi Jolly Peanut, if my safe doesn't have circular key lock, is there a lock pick that can open my safe? Cheers, great demonstration
Sawzall...
It would have been much more helpful if you SHOWED us the magnet that unlocked the safe so we could actually buy the same size.
I have a S0500 Sentry safe, # AA-a476149* I don't use hardly ever because it just has old family pictures in it. I forgot the combo, And have tried a 500 lb Magnet going all around the handle . Still don't open it, were exactly should I put the magnet? Oh also it is mounted inside the bottom of cabinet that's more the the price of the safe. Please Help me. Tanks
Good video 👍
Where did you get the magnet? And what kind is it? Thanks for the video!
Search for 'magnet fishing' on Ebay or YT.
rare earth magnet
The fire safe looks kinda fun to ay with but woukd not use one of those and prob not gonna buy one. Thanks for sharing. Watching your vids today.
Where to find a picking tool like that? I have a safe that needs to be opened the same size.
I will up-date the link in description...Try these amzn.to/2lq2iNF
@@JollyPeanut thank you very much
@@JollyPeanut Hello Jolly Peanut, do you have another link as this one doesn’t work. Thanks
Thanks you ❤️
how do you change the battery on this Delta safe
Great video my friend, not a very secure safe then lol
These safes are not safe ;-) as far as I know all of these type of small safes are the same other than some don't have a tubular lock but all easy to open.. The magnet also works on some much bigger safes..
What do expect from an inexpensive safe?
Do you know what size tubular tool you are using. I have the same safe. I bought a 7.00 tool and it seems to be too small. Thanks so much

Nice 👍
This is why u always get a dial locking safe.😮
No link for the tubular lock pick tool?
yes...link please!!!!
Yes... Link pleace

Are you a thief? 😂😂😂
That Amazon link is no longer valid. A new one?
The link the poster gave, no longer available. where to get the magnet if anyone knows...
what kind of magnet did you use specifically?
N52 Neodymium Rare Earth Magnet.
@@JollyPeanut where do I get such magnet?
A magnetic one! 😂😂😂
From a magnet shop! 😂😂😂
at the nth degree, laser with moire interference pattern...
Si funciona
I think I have seen this done on a different brand safe but same concept. A stronger spring may help but that tubular lock would also need to be upgraded. I need to get me a stronger magnet.😁🍺😎🇦🇺
I didn't hear the solenoid when he slid the socked magnet under it. The distance is too far and it's a magic trick, lol.
I say slug it open with a JW-2000. I know that's a very expensive and hard to find lock picking tool, but one of the more fun methods! ;-)
What's the point of having a safe?
mr. jolly peanut sir. can it really open all safes? i mean there are large safes that the solenoid is in the middle and not in the bottom. i dont think the magnet can still pull them, even if it is rate earth magnet. it would be great if you could demonstrate larger safes.
I never said it can open all safes although it can open quite a few types of solenoid safes as well as some other types of electronic & magnetic locks. I am not going to buy a larger safe just to make a video to prove it i don't need to there are already other videos out there on this subject .Here is a link from a guy doing just that on a larger Sentry safe and i can confirm it does work on these Sentry safes...ruclips.net/video/ApJQ2wcYjBo/видео.html

Hi. I picked up a Browning Prosteel gun safe for $50. They lost the combination. I figured it is worth trying to open and install a new manual lock instead of the electronic.
Any suggestions??
I know they use S&G mechanical locks on some of their safes but i have not worked on those. Maybe worth contacting Browning I am sure many people have forgotten there combination.
Jolly Peanut I am curious if this method with the magnet might work. Browning isn’t very helpful and apparently there is no master reset code for the S&G
@@rickallmightyjones6189 Magnets only sometimes work on digital electronic locks and to stand a chance you would need a more powerful magnet than the ones i have , if your safe has the mechanical lock the magnet method will not work. Some local locksmiths do work on these locks they may drill a small hole to open it which can be easily repaired, get a quote first if you go this route.
Jolly Peanut Thank you, we only have one locksmith and his minimum fee is $350 plus the lock replacement so it’s not a good option. I am going to try and find tutorials on drilling it myself. It’s worthless right now anyway
When you drill the hole it is critical it has to be in the correct place to within a few mm to allow the lock to be manipulated from the inside, it is a tricky job but worth a try..Good luck.
Plus there is no room under the safe
What if my safe has no handle, just a digital keypad?
No difference. The electronic circuitry is just moving a solenoid plunger that is necessarily magnetic.
It should be fine if bolted down somewhere cramped ;) Can't chisel it nor magnet it.
But it can be picked in seconds almost as fast as using the key. There better than nothing but they sure aint SAFE...
That's assuming the thief comes prepared with super -strength magnet or special picking tool! 😂😂😂 I have a similar safe. I tried bouncing it and thumping it. The safe would NOT open!
using a screw-jack instead of an electromagnet would make this hack useless..
Mine doesn't have a key lock
