@@mikeosgood3846 They don't have to be original that doesn't diminish them in any way. They are better than Iron Maiden in my opinion. In fact most of their songs don't even sound like Iron Maiden. They draw influences from Metallica, Priest, Slayer, and Helloween too. Every band is influenced by the ones that came before them. All the modern metal bands sound like clones of each other so where is the originality in that? Lovebites is unique in their appearance and style. If you make great music that's all that matters.
Yep, even though this is a MV, you’ve just witnessed greatness. These women are extremely talented, skillful and proficient musicians. Their main influences are the great metal bands of the past but they have been developing their unique style. Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about them: The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album came out in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of DVD/Blu-ray live recordings. Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. Miyako (guitar/black hair) uses the Dean Flying V in the video, which is her signature model. In addition, all their albums have been mixed and mastered by Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila from Finland, who have worked with some of the heavyweights of the Nordic metal scene, including NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, STRATOVARIUS and AMORPHIS. Just some constructive criticism if I may. You've somehow managed to convert the original stereo sound down into mono. I'm guessing you're not going with a 1980s AM radio vibe, so please have a fiddle with whatever software you're using to ensure that the sound quality of the original video is retained. With their dual lead guitars, this is one band that absolutely needs to be listened to in stereo. Also, good sound will help you to grow your channel.

Their entire catalog is a hommage to 80's/90 metal with influences from priest, iron maiden, megadeth; mettalica, testament. They even did a great cover of painkiller and their song the crusade is heavy influenced by aces high from iron maiden for example. Love these ladies 😁

You found 5 of the best musicians in the world. I would go to The Hammer of Wrath from Knockin at Heaven's Gate and Set the World on Fire for your next vids. These are both live and you can see how truly amazing they are.
The members of LOVEBITES have definitely put in their hours of practice. The band primarily produces power and thrash metal with a few outlier songs here and there. Great band of lovely, highly-skilled women, but the fanbase can be a bit hyperbolic and silly at times. As others have no doubt said, their live videos are almost all really good and worth checking out. “Holy War” is a good one that most people watch early in their LOVEBITES journey.

This is a special video. It is made during Covid and it is trying to bring hope. Its recorded in a (Christian) wedding center in Tokyo. I do not know why they mixed in Jesus and all that. As far as I know they are not Christians. No other song has this religious vibe. If they are anything, that is Shinto. But, I do not know that either. Yo can choose any song, but Live. They are 1000 better live than in MV. Set the world on fire, Break the Wall, Holy War or Shadowmaker l(all live) are good options, but you can't go wrong with them.

They draw influences from Metallica, Priest, Slayer, and Helloween too. Every band is influenced by the ones that came before them. All the modern metal bands sound like clones of each other so where is the originality in that? Lovebites is unique in their appearance and style. If you make great music that's all that matters.

Whereas Band Maid is really a pop-rock band with some heavier songs, LOVEBITES are a straight metal band. This is one of their older songs, and as good as their music videos are, you really need to see them perform live to appreciate just how talented they are.

Here some information about them:
The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album came out in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of DVD/Blu-ray live recordings.
Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023.
This year in June LOVEBITES‘ first world tour starts in Europe. In September they will play their biggest headline show ever in Tokyo. After that LOVEBITES will have their US debut …

She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer

She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food

Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop

LOVEBITES is a five-piece all-female, Japanese heavy metal band with deep musicianship (plus classical music/piano background). They transcend gender, genre, and geography, with some 60 songs in their discography. They won Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band (2018), toured with Dragonforce (2019), first female Japanese band to perform at Wacken Open Air (Germany) and others in Europe, and are unusual among Japanese bands in choosing to sing in English plus good lyrics (a daunting task for native Japanese speakers).

LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 18 June 2018, LOVEBITES won 'BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.

On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.

Between Band-Maid and Lovebites, you have now seen two of the greatest bands in the world. In their first five years of existence, Lovebites put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later.

Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. She is self-taught on the guitar. Miyako (guitar/black hair) uses the Dean Flying V in the video, which is her signature model. In addition, all their albums have been mixed and mastered by Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila from Finland, who have worked with some of the heavyweights of the Nordic metal scene, including NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, STRATOVARIUS and AMORPHIS.
This alone proves that they are the real deal, but I recommend checking them out once in the live video.

Many Japanese children are introduced to instruments, sheet music and making music at an early age. When they are young adults, hard work is added to the good education. Over the years, this life consistently produces very good, positive characters. Whether it's Lovebites, Band Maid, Nemophila or all the other great bands from Japan, it's been my greatest pleasure to enjoy the creations of these fantastic musicians for the past 4 years.
Lovebites history :
Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in
2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany
2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England
2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium
2019 - Download Festival in Spain.
In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and it is very rare that in these times a rock band comes so far forward.

Just some constructive criticism if I may. You've somehow managed to convert the original stereo sound down into mono. I'm guessing you're not going with a 1980s AM radio vibe, so please have a fiddle with whatever software you're using to ensure that the sound quality of the original video is retained. With their dual lead guitars, this is one band that absolutely needs to be listened to in stereo. Also, good sound will help you to grow your channel.

Their entire catalog is a hommage to 80's/90 metal with influences from priest, iron maiden, megadeth; mettalica, testament. They even did a great cover of painkiller and their song the crusade is heavy influenced by aces high from iron maiden for example. Love these ladies 😁

The members of LOVEBITES have definitely put in their hours of practice. The band primarily produces power and thrash metal with a few outlier songs here and there. Great band of lovely, highly-skilled women, but the fanbase can be a bit hyperbolic and silly at times. As others have no doubt said, their live videos are almost all really good and worth checking out. “Holy War” is a good one that most people watch early in their LOVEBITES journey.

This is a special video. It is made during Covid and it is trying to bring hope. Its recorded in a (Christian) wedding center in Tokyo. I do not know why they mixed in Jesus and all that. As far as I know they are not Christians. No other song has this religious vibe. If they are anything, that is Shinto. But, I do not know that either.
