Cypher 2 is my favorite. But my favorite rapline song overall, is their most recent release (2020) called 'Ugh'.

The most amazing part (to me) is when this was recorded, RM was 18, JHope was 19 and Suga was 20. The rapline always writes their own lyrics and decides how they want to ride the beat in their part of BTS songs.

There is a live BTS Cypher Medley performance with even Eng subs with cc in from the channel enjoy BTS more! It’s from 2019, BTS speak yourself final performance in Seoul. But do recommend you watch all the pts. 1 - 4 with Eng subs as you are doing now first! Especially since the live is a medley, so doesn’t show the full performance for each song! 👍🙏❤️🔥🔥😍
these are called unit songs, a rap line song, a vocal line song, or a combination of some of the vocalist and some of the rappers. my favorite cypher would be the cypher pt 3 and cypher pt 4 is a close second, but yoongi's verse in cypher pt 2 is so amazing as well!!! 😆 well, my favorite rap line song is ddaeng 😉💜

We refer to them as the Rap Line and the Vocal Line. There are also sub-unit songs. Examples: 4 O' Clock (RM & V), Jamais Vu (Jin, J-hope, Jungkook), Friends (Jimin & V).
You watched the Carpool Karaoke and heard about the mandu/dumpling fight between Jimin and V. Two songs came out of that. The first is 4 O' Clock (in 2017), and the other is Friends (2020). ARMYs did not know about the fight until Carpool Karaoke. later Jimin and V, in separate Lives, talked a bit about the fight. After that, they came together and jointly told ARMY more details.

So happy you're doing the Cyphers. Once you've worked through PART 2, 3 & 4, you should then react to the live Cypher medley performance, the crowd/Army go mental to it, its brilliant. My favourite rap line song is Tear, and if you can get the live at Wembley performance, react to it. Suga is my bias of BTS, but in this live performance J Hope totally biased wrecked me lol xxx😊
Their Cypher pt 3 -Killer performance from their Busan (Yet To Come) concert is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. My guys had some strong 💥Feelings💥To💥Express💥 that day. 😂 I love the healthy affirmation concept of Cypher Pt 4 & RM’s verse is one of my favorites from him, but that performance pushed Pt 3 to the top for me.
Jimin’s new album MUSE has just been announced to be released kst time July 19, meaning July 18 in US & elsewhere in other time zones! 👍🙏❤️🔥🐥😍🥳🎉🎉🎉 The album can already be purchased as pre sale from either spotify or apple music! 🎉🎉🎉
The Rap Line are Musical Geniuses and Stage Gods!!!!! When you have the top notch Poet (RM) and the Ultimate storyteller and Producer (Suga) in a group, you cannot help but get sucked into their world and Add J-Hope's top tier rap verses and Mad Stage presence to it AND THEY ARE UNTOUCHABLE!!!!!!
Cypher 3 & 4 are both incredible but if I can scream “Bitch I don’t care, you can’t control my shit!” ….I’m gonna vote 3!!!
The "singing core" is called Vocal Line. "Rapping core" of the group is called the Rap Line. 👍🏻 You're right -- it adds so many layers that the different Lines as well as various combos of members do songs together (which are referred to as Unit Songs).

Cypher pt.1 is last on my list, my favorite is Cypher pt.4, I love it so much! I think Cypher pt 3 is on the second place on my list.
But I like them all better live!

Oh they will come up with another one after military for sure. I just now they have something to say (especially Joon and Yoongi) about the recent events and the hate they had to face unprowoked yet again. I could totaly see Yoongi venting, creating badass beats and writing amazing lyrics.

Unit songs are quiet normal in kpop industry in general... I know you are new but it isn't really that suprising that rap line and vocal line have songs apart... ;) later they are unit songs that ate mixed up ... Hmm
