My grandson is 5 and he has about 600 hot wheels. Every day he comes to visit, I have a new one for him. He will cover the living room floor with cars, and when he is not looking, I will pick up one and put it in my pocket. When he comes back he looks at all of them and will say "Where is my gray Lamborghini?" I reach in my pocket and that's the one I picked up. I can't remember what I had for Breakfast, and he knows every car.
as a Hot Wheels nerd and someone who grew up with the toy brand, I can confidently say that these were fascinating to watch. But now I'm starting to wonder. The kids that were in this ad, where are they now? 🤔
55 years later and they're still the fastest toy cars we've ever seen. Technically I can't say they're the fastest METAL cars, since Hot Wheels nowadays have been manufactured with metal and plastic, with plastic being a common choice for body castings, and metal chassis supplying the weight needed. tl;dr Happy 55th, Hot Wheels.
I have 60+ Hot wheels cars. My story is when i go to the toy store, i really wanna buy the cars 1 diecasts but we dont have that money so i asked for hot wheels instead. Whenever we go to mall i have a new one
I would like to include this Hot Wheels commercial in one of my Hot Wheels videos, I am just wondering if it is copyrighted or if it is in the public domain.
Nothing better to swing the kids into your local toy distributor, than by adding some jazzy trumpet to your commercial's soundtrack. Ahh, the 'good ol' days' - so feckless, so silly :-)
