    As simple as white rice should be, I have seen so many other ways to make it on other channels (some use Lily butter, cloves, etc.). My husband gave this one the stamp of approval, he just prefers a little more salt. Great job.

      Diane moreno You must wash your rice till the water is nearly clear.

    • @misjessica6331
      @misjessica6331 7 лет назад +2

      Errol Collins That's exactly what we do, the water has to rinse clear before we put it in our pot.

    WHAT BRAND RICE DO YOU USE?
    CAN I PUT COCONUT MILK IN IT?

    • @misjessica6331
      @misjessica6331 7 лет назад +4

      FeiSty-ßRown PeRez We don't use coconut milk in our white rice so I wouldn't recommend it... We use Jasmine rice the most. 😉

    • @deedior119
      @deedior119 7 лет назад +3

      FeiSty-ßRown PeRez put coconut milk in regular white rice( I use Carolina rice) when making rice and peas. Jasmine rice is very strong flavored and coconut milk won't be a good mix in it.

      A trick: try to stand the spoon in the pan in a vertical way. If the spoon stand by itself without you holding it the water is enough but if it falls when you let it go then remove some water and try the same trick.
      It all depends on the rice though. Some rice needs a little bit of water and some needs a little bit more.
