That was mine! Sold it some years ago. Recognised the snapped bolt head on the back and painted bolt heads and nos bottle to counteract servo weight! Never ran it. Sold as a roller😊
Ohh mate, it's an absolute machine love it, it's slowly becoming a shelf queen though as I don't want to scratch it up, I'm guessing you sold it to a guy called Ricky? He's already been in touch and wanted to but it back 🤣🤣
@@rcworxshop they are pretty good rigs from GMade, only thing I dislike is a lot of the time they don't use hex screw, most of them are Phillips screws. 😄👍🏼
I was lucky enough to have inherited them when I purchased it, they are official Gmade parts if that helps you search, there's a few websites still sell them 👍🏻👍🏻
@@rcworxshop dang u fired up easy! You are talking like the r1 witch I also have is like a comp crawler or something and is so amazing. I figured you didn't know about real comp crawlers is all. Not many around anymore but the bully2 is badass and makes the gmade r1 look like a kids toy
🤣🤣 I would love a comp crawler like the bully, the only problem is the circles I hang out with realistically are scale crawler / trail trucks, mud puddles and streams. When I say crawler I generally mean trail trucks sorry Bob, you have to admit though that the R1 does look like a nice piece of kit 😉 thanks for watching matey 👍🏻
@@rcworxshop yeah the scale thing really has taken over and personally I think is a bummer I like the actual performance of a rc. But obviously the masses disagree and like playing with rc hot wheels

Wery cool tune crawler, great work bro!)
A awesome overview on the GMADE R1 !! & The suspension setup is also very cool too,
Thanks Q, appreciate it matey, love the suspension 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice looking GMade R1 rig. I also have a GMade Komodo, love it, owned one and bought a second one to collect. :)
Really looking forward to getting this thing on the trails, also been eyeing up the komodo lol

That thing looks awsome
It's nice mate!
Keep up the good work fella! 👍
Thanks for watching matey 👍🏻
Shelf 👑 mine...too many broken rod ends and wheel axle snaps. Was quite fun as a crawler/bouncer 🤑
🤣🤣 I can see that happening with mine lol, I'll take it put a few times first don't want to wreck it 😜
Thats ace man 👏
Thanks for watching matey 👍🏻
I think the drive shaft is plastic to put less weight in the back
You could be right, I was told that every rc needs a weak point once it has metal upgrades 👍🏻
@@rcworxshop sounds about right! Thanks man
Very nice
I wonder how this would do on the waterfall against trx4.
Race race
Oh now there's a challenge 🤔🤔
I have a trx 4
@@v8rangee me too
The trx4 is an awesome truck, by far the bench mark for every crawler 👌🏻
I'm thinking of getting the r1 clone off ebay , alot cheaper ! Can I still do the alloy upgrades you have done ? Eg axle links ?
Green zip ties clash badly with an otherwise beautiful rig.
Agreed I've changed them out, thanks for watching matey 👍🏻👍🏻
I went up kiddie the other day on the sandstone with a chap with an r1 brushless 3s bigger tyres than urs and it walked the place like it wasn't there
Yeah boi, that's exactly what I'm talking about 👌🏻👌🏻
Change your shock setup to droop , I put the high clearance bottom links on mine and it crawls brilliantly with the shocks set to droop ,
Lcg
Good call matey, I'm getting a new body on it which should enable me to lower it 😜
Where did you get all the aluminum parts from?
I was lucky enough to have inherited them when I purchased it, they are official Gmade parts if that helps you search, there's a few websites still sell them 👍🏻👍🏻
Good luck getting a Fusion in there
I'll just shave a bit off lol, your right I doubt one will go in, thanks for watching 👍🏻
New Fusions are a bit smaller. Still, I had to dremel out some plastic on the tubes for a good fit. Good show🎉
I built that r1 have you got away i can contact you?
Yes matey I'm on Instagram if you want to pm me 👍🏻
GIVE THESE MAN VIEWERS SUB IT
Thanks matey, your a star 👍🏻👍🏻
Yeh man you deserve it
Where did you get the axial skid plates?
They are dotted around on a few various sites, they're the official gmade r1 skid set worth a Google search 👍🏻
Thanks mate
What make are the suspension links?
Pretty sure they are the gmade ones 🤔 thanks for watching matey 👍🏻
What about the pot metal bevel gears ,has anyone found heavy duty metal bevel gears anywhere?
I didn't matey and the truck has been traded on although i do miss it, thanks for watching matey 👍🏻
check out the jx ECO boost HV21kg the price is cheap an the speed an toqur bad to the bone servo check it out my friend
Awesome Bobby thanks, I've just ordered one as a back up it looks ace for the money, thank for watching matey 👍🏻
If that's your dream crawler you don't know much about crawlers
What don't I know about crawlers Bob? I've got many others, this is just a model I've wanted for years weather it works well or not
