    This is by far the best explanation I’ve found for the Yamaha PA systems, and it really gives me great confidence to buy one of these for my community center. Thanks! Note to other buyers: this is the Yamaha Stagepas 400. The Stagepas 400BT is newer and features Bluetooth INSTEAD OF the USB port.

      Hi Juan, Glad it was helpful. Yamaha makes a nice line of active sub-woofers what should work well with this system. If you setup and tear down a lot I would suggest the DXS12mkII since it only weighs 66 lbs and has integrated wheels.

    I have been looking at this stagepas for a while , as im getting older and my gear is getting heavier 🤣 never seem to get a live band playing and demonstrating any gear these days so bit concerned that this would be up for the job but to be fair you are a great explainer and i have learned a lot ,we are a three piece harmony band playing too up to a 50 something more , we have alway sang through 15inch speakers which alway give us a warm blend of harmony. Just wondering what your opinion would be on us buying this set up, i guess it wont be as good to what we have now but i guess its sacrificing i little sound quality or sacrificing my back🤣

    • @proclaimav4197
      @proclaimav4197  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, you will lose some low end by switching, however you could add a smaller subwoofer to compensate if you want using the monitor output.
      I would check out some of the sub /column speaker systems as well. (Like Turbosound Inspire IP500 or similar) The heavy stuff stays on the ground that way. 😆

    I want to set up a home karaoke. I want to connect my ipad to my TV directly. Can I connect my Behringer system to the TV so that my karaoke sound from the TV comes out from the Behringer speakers? How do I do that?

    • @proclaimav4197
      @proclaimav4197  6 лет назад

      That would depend on your Behringer system and if your television has a line level output. A lot of newer televisions only have a digital output (normally optical) so you would need a converter box to change it to RCA line level output. If your Behringer system only has 1/4" line level inputs you could use an RCA to 1/4" stereo cable to patch in to the Behringer system. Hope that helps!

    • @proclaimav4197

      This would depend largely on the impedance load of your guitar pickup. Since your pickup is battery powered instead of entirely passive (like an electric guitar) it's possible you don't need to have the HiZ (High Impedance) button down. :)

      Hi Jude, Bass boost is just an EQ setting that turns up the bass frequencies for the system.

    What adapters would one need to record something from a live session? Someone please when someone has a moment?

    • @proclaimav4197
      @proclaimav4197  4 года назад +1

      It depends what you are recording with. Use the 1/4" monitor outs and the monitor out volume to feed your recorder.

      Oh ok, but would I be recording most likely with like an audio interface? Say like a Scarlett? Probably going to pro tools or something like that?

    • @proclaimav4197

      Sure, you'll only get two tracks but that should work without issue!

    How can I add two more speakers ?

    • @proclaimav4197
      @proclaimav4197  4 года назад +1

      Hi Chris, You can add more speakers, but they will need to.be powered ones like the Yamaha DBR-12 (for example.) Connect them to the "Monitor Out" jacks to send them a signal. Thanks for watching!
