For me, an autistic character designer and writer, this song is very literal. I never quite knew how to fit in, so I try to be everything at once. I try to experience as much as I can first hand, and some of that is impossible unless I write it into my characters! This song means a lot to me because it makes me feel like I can be and do anything I want to; even if I can only do it in my fictional world.
