Great video, lots of quality content. Plan to ride the C2C in February and may just do some stealth camping. Having lived in Fl for a long time I've learned a lot about the wildlife. Before getting in ANY lakes, creeks, rivers etc in Florida there is one surefire test for gator presence. Go to the edge of the water and stick your foot in it. If your foot is wet when you pull it out that means gators are there. Too bad you had to turn back on the Van Fleet Trail. You missed experiencing the one slight curve in the entire trail.
