I really like how Brian came out with something so small that sounds great! Everyone comes out with these 100w 120w heads that only sound great cranked which is great and all but when you just wanna play in ur room or if u have a family and want to play at night or your just practicing while watching tv or whatever reason you don’t want to have an amp cranked to 11 blowing ur ear drums out you really are limited to some small crappy sounding amps and if u practice with some crappy amp all the time it can change ur playing in a bad way. The only thing that I’ve found to be a great small practice amp well it’s really a tool is the iRig 2 but there’s too many wires then you gotta plug In headphones or an amp or even computer speakers which is just a mess of wires don’t get me wrong if ur not feeling inspired it will inspire you because u can do so much and if u have a problem keeping urself practicing it will help u can play to songs so easy but this small Brian May set up is perfect it bridges the gap!
Thus this is seriously awesome. It’s much better than this video even shows. I love mine.
Do you ever play yours through a speaker? How loud is it?
@@njw1383 I’ve only put it through a jbl Bluetooth speaker. Nothing crazy. In my sennheiser headphones it sounds like the real deal though.

I’d recommend using the best stereo system you have in your home. It’s supposed to already model his tone so you can hear it through headphones, it works the same way through a nice pair of speakers.
I have every single amplug and love them through a cab mice up for practicing and even with head phones they sound amazing. They sound better then any head phone and orctice amp of thst size o have ever had and they all git in my guitar cases when im kn the road with my tribute band i have been with sonce i was 16 and im now 31 but these are amazing headphone amps. And if you use the aux out you van use computer speakers or any speaker with a aux in jack to play it sith a speaker or speakers with out head phones. And the computer soeakers i use in the van and to warm up with have a bass speaker thats seperate and when everything is fialed in right it sounds like a huge stack but at low volumes

The direct sounds have a lot of fuzzy distortion around the tone, was it overdriving your inputs? Or is that how it sounds?

Damn , that treble boost brings in hiss and nasty overtones , ( I’ve seen other demos and the hiss is less prominent ) the rest is nice , not sure if the chorus is stereo , which would really sound nice in headphones , if delay is stereo why not chorus ? But cool that Vox is trying something different in this budget range .
I listened on headphones and can confirm that the chorus is indeed stereo.
Alot of noise, interesting thing about the brian may sound is...unless you can afford a deaky amp, AC 30 and a guitar, his sound is almost there, but really what we need mostly is Brian May Fingers...lol...
It would be cool to find someone take his sound somewhere new

Come on Vox Amps ! still no rechargeable battery ? and still no bluetooth audio input and headphone output ? this would have been a great product 10 years ago ! who wants battery and useless cables nowadays !
I'm loving the new Box amps but not really impressed with the over all sound with this. I do like the features on it but has a lot humming to it and no one wants that coming out of their amp.
I think it is awesome product on its own. It has some most awesome sounds/effects from Brian May career in a smallest piece of gear that you can ask. Fans have been longing this since BM digitech pedal was discontinued. Anyway I find sound of this amplug better than normal amplugs.
