It isn't a fridge, it's a cooler and warmer, refrigerators have compressors and other parts, this is a simple machine that runs off a fan and a peltier module, yet very efficient and a good piece of engineerin..... needed to edit incase anybody decides to buy one... the cooler should go below 30-45 degrees fahrenheit below the ambient (outside) temp (example: 75 degrees outside the cooler will drop to around 35 degrees) and the heating should go to 125-145 fahrenheit also dependent on temp.... your welcome!!
why the hell would you turn the heat on ??? we need to know if it really gets cold guy. shit if i want a hot drink during the winter ill just leave my soda around my house or next to my heater.....
This is perfect for hiding a stash of cold drinks around the house. When somebody asks me for a can, imma be like....”I ain’t even got it on me brother”
I didn’t get instructions bought second hand , good to know to give it an hour break every couple of days , I use it to keep drinks cold and when I empty to take sodas 🥤 to work I unplug it .
The consumption is horrible since it's constant, 50W is 438kwh/year and depending of where you live that might be pricey in the long run. Say where I am that'll amount to 70 bucks per year just for 4L where a 45L 130 bucks refrigerator will be around 110kwh/year and cost me 17 bucks per year. For very short term use and if size is a constraint I'd go for that though. Edit: might not be the exact same model I had, cheap OEM stuff all look the same.
Came here to say that, this kind of mini fridges uses a Peltier module for both cooling down and heating up, it's much cheaper than a fridge compressor and also more lightweight and quiet but far less efficient
@@Benjicmm Peltiers have to run almost constantly because they're terribly inefficient. That means you have to listen to that damned fan constantly too. I have one and I don't even use the damned thing, it's junk.
I think I've found the end of youtube during covid. Watching a video all the way through, about a four year old mini fridge, that I don't have any desire to own.
I need mini fridge for just ONE GLASS / CUP of espresso with milk. It's tedious to go back and forth to fridge just to sip my coffee. Seems like this is perfect. But I'm afraid it wont work cause too many Chinese knockoffs. The one that actually is good should be Cooluli brand, there's a teardown and the components seem better than the knockoffs. Can still improve it with better thermal paste and better fan.
I have an identical fridge but without the uberchill logo. The coldest mine gets is 12 C and in the hot setting it gets 35 C. Crappy as fuck according to me.
No, sorry. My brother bought it in a store named Webhallen in Sweden about 6-7 years ago. The fan in mine started making noice early last year so I don't use it anymore. I suggest that you buy one without the usual peltier module in it or at least one of better quality. A mini fridge would be perfect if you can afford it.
@@unogazzy84 Awww thanks for the information though. I doubt I'll be able to buy a 6 can one without a peltier module in the U.S for cheap but thanks anyways and I'll look around.

Peltier coolers are crap, and they are *NOT* efficient by any means (typically 5%), plus the fans are noisy.
Can you explain quantum mechanics for me....

because some people will use it for heat, so they can, like, eat hot sandwiches...
What about warm drinks, like tea and coffee?

presumable that cooling does not run constantly. It only cools down to the desired temp and then stops.

You could use this then plug the power outlet for the fridge into a storage battery thing
And put it in a locker
That's Adorable!😍😍
