I came here because of that crazy picture
@ChillySunshine Thanks so much for all the hard work. Oh the memories ... so many. These episodes started on my birthday in 1974, January 6, with The Old Ones Are Hard to Kill. I was a whopping 10 years old, and listened to these with my father and brother until they went off the air in 1982. I love your original artwork on all episodes. God bless you and thanks again.
So this what Art Bell listened to as a kid... 🙂
One of my favorite Algernon Blackwood tale "Camp of the dog" I love the werewolfs most of all monster. Next one should listen to BBC Vincent Price werewolf radio mystery
Thanks for the heads up. Love Vincent Price.
Love that you list actors, so I'm not trying to figure out the familiar voices !!! Lolol💕
bitty bitty me too! Evie Juster is the easiest!
i've gone so far as to look up the actors ( the usual suspects ) so I can put a face to the voice. I just wish they were in order of role (main to supporting) instead of alphabetical or maybe even list the character they play. I love when they play more than one character in the same show. Sometimes is works, but sometimes their voice is to distinct to disguise.
Howard da Silva looks just like he sounds.
Very fun story...thank you!
What do you make of those TRACKS? Looks like an animal. Oh that's good. I thought it was a dumptruck. Gotta watch those dumptrucks. Nasty buggers. 🙄
Only a silver bullet will kill it x
That's a Hollywood rule. Algernon Blackwood might not have been familiar with it when he wrote the story - he probably wouldn't care anyway. There's all kinds of folklore around lycanthropes, so which anti-werewolf measures you hear about depends on what locale the story comes from. In some of them any old bullet or sharp knife will do the trick.
@@dontaylor7315 Or a grenade??
better than twilight
Low bar!
😂
So true.
Birdemic is better than Twilight.
heard this on another channel. But was not quite the same. This one was better.
I would love to hear ALL the werewolf episodes
@Budahbaba
- Here's a trick for finding episodes with any word or topic. Type "site:www.cbsrmt.com werewolf" into Google. That will show you every page on the official CBSRMT website where the word "werewolf" appears. That will show you the episodes with that word mentioned. You can use this with any website and any word or phrase you're looking for. Cheers!
@@patrickoneill8707 TY you so much my friend! For all the talk that people do on the internet, that was a very rare moment of useful advice! :)
@@budahbaba7856 hahaha! I am always here to help fellow lovers of good old-fashioned entertainment. That little trick with Google works for any website and any search term. Have fun buddy.
Thank you!
"Peter the Wolf?" How ironic...
Sangri=blood, ironic too
Love Kristopher Tabouri!
So do I. I know you watched Kris with Jeremy Brett in The Hound of the Baskerville.
“Joan the fearless...”
*Sees animal footprints and loses her ish*
Hilarious! But to be fair, ANYBODY would lose their "ish" if they saw wild-animals tracks right outside their tent!
1 of the actors in this radio play sounds very much like the late actor who used to play Richie Cunningham's dad on dumb sitcom, Happy Days(Again).
That's what I thought.
Mason Adams I think. Once you see his face you'll recognize him from a lot of tv shows. Also voice over commercials in the 70s and 80s.
For some reason, I'm craving Smuckers 🤔
I love Mystery Theater!! I use to listen to this as a kid in the 70's. This one is very corny!!
Bullshit!! This episode is really put together well!!!
What is it about tents that makes it so easy to blockade people in or out of them?
Desperately afraid and desperately curious about Peter? I'm sorry, I couldn't help but giggle during the whole confession to her father of how "Peter" makes her feel creepy. Why couldn't his name have been Ralph or Oswald? I know, I'm sorry.
Good evening 🌚from Tucson 🏜️🌙🏜️ (◕ᴥ◕)
Tame episode. Not wild. Tame. EDIT: 45:06 Christmas holiday sale at J C Penney? Means that this recording of this episode happened at a date other than what is noted in the description above.
dec 24
That's my birthday😘
Shopping at JCP for Christmas back in the 70's! ;)
Ya, i got a spanking every time we went there, because i would be crying to go to the toys section, but all we ever did was just hang out in the boring ol' clothes section, where other people would pick out clothes for me, and send me back & forth to the changing room to try them on! ;)
CBS often replayed these episodes. Maybe what was listed was the original air date and this was a replay.
Wonderful painting!
. Zww
Oque mentira-mentira-mentira...,eu sei qual éo verdadeiro nome dele?Bemdez é essi overdadeiro nome dele...,ácredite sí quiser!
Maybe I'm just too picky from being a fan and a writer of horror, fantasy, and sci-fi for 40 years, but this crap. 😐
You mean the Algernon Blackwood story or just this radio adaptation?
