- Hey everyone, so I did one for Nia in Xenoblade 2, and heres of of Nia being very Welsh in Xenoblade 3!

Nia trying to and barely succeeding in hide her real personality is the new spin of her character I never thought I needed. My headcanon is that Dromarch was still around when she took on the Queen mantle and coached her in acting more like him in preparation. To limited success.
Sena: [Looking with high expectations] “ -The future must be sculpted with one’s own hands, right?”
Nia: [SHIIIIIIIIIIT. What do I say?! Common Nia, think like Dromarch with his fancy regal talk and shit- no no just calm down….] “ Uh, Sure…”
Sena: [Eyes light up even more] “ Wow!”

So true, I also think a lot of people are liking Rex more now, even before the DLC teaser
TBF in XC2 a lot of VAs didn't really put their best foot forward in places that really mattered. Like when the the characters should be screaming but they're still speaking normally or softly. Nia for the most part was like whispering the whole time. There's a reason why a lot of players switched to the JP dub in that game. Now in XC3 they really did a good job which was impressive especially for NIA.
To be fair, the voice direction im XC2 was terrible in general

I love how Melia is the questing/poli-sci teacher and Nia is the exploring/history teacher. Their adventuring chops from the previous games simply glow during their Hero Quests.
6:31 You know, if the Founder of House Vandham IS descended from N and M's child, and thus by extension is descended from Nia, that would actually explain where Ghondor gets her foul mouth from.

It also strikes me as hilarious that at least up to a certain point, Nia's catgirl genes only manifested in her female descendants. But I guess being descended from Matthew meant the genes thinned out so much that Monica and Ghondor missed out on being catgirls. But Monica has a lionness vibe to her, and Ghondor's kind of a feral wildcat...I know I'm just stretching. I also don't see any notable House Doyle members having white haired catgirl genes, so yeah...

So if she's queen im assuming Rex is either king (or following british rules a prince). But where does that leave Pyra and Mythra?

Rex is a crown consort since he doesn't claim to be king of agnus.And he did say to Matthew when they where talking abt the ouroborous stone he states "That was given to you by the Queen of Agnus right" referring to Nia.But doesn't claim to be king or Nia to be his wife.
My theory is that Nia has two husbands ("Oi, If Rex can have two other women in his married life, I can have another man in mine!"), and she hooked up with Niall and they formed the royal family of Agnus. Niall's cool with it because he's totally head over heels with the woman who brought him back from the dead, and she can disappear off to the islands while he does "boring" royal work like hosting dignitaries.
I mean, they could´ve been like Haze and become the "Godesses" of Agnus, considering that XC2 NG+ screen seems to indicate Pyra and Mythra were Nia´s lovers as much as they were Rex´s

Mio may start off as a Defender, but all those Healer classes she inherits tells a different story.

Also same core crystal shape(its just flipped upside-down) hair color and accent (more mild comparatively but still there)
Great video but what is she doing at 6:43? The only thing that comes to mind with this motion is furiously spitting into her mug, but that's too weird for a background event XD

While never stated outright, it is HEAVILY implied that Mio is the daughter of Rex and Nia (technically making her the princess of Agnus (if you squint))

Melia was raised as royalty and was always very prim and proper, Nia probably felt self-conscious about being less refined.
Well spoiler….Welsh is British! The native language to Britain. Whereas What people believe is British (English) is in fact Germanic in origin.
Bold claim, but not untrue. XD Unfortunately she only has a Welsh accent for the English language and never actually uses the Welsh language (it would've been cool if some of her Arts had Welsh names at least.)
Indeed, yeah, totally true. The English were still referring to them as Brits as much as Welsh well into the 1700s. And slowly stopped when they adopted the term for themselves. Now, you get funny remarks should you try and explain it to anyone that’s not from Britain.
English is a mish-mash of a bunch of different languages such as German, Latin, Gaelic, and French.
Give me a Welsh accent, thanks.
Currently my voice is a Classic flavoured with original seasoning, Google translate sounding ass, but I want a Welsh one.
