Taking into account how the bow will lay depending on whether it’s flipped AND allowing for it to be worn either way is genuinely incredible foresight you and your sister are awesome!

When you have a thick seam allowance, you should try the #5 invisible zipper. Standard invisible zipper is a #2. This may help in the future 😊. Love the dress
Try pressing/ironing the teeth of the invisible zip open before you sew it- it gives you a little more room to work with and helps prevent the fabric from getting caught ❤
Girl I love your work your hard worker you're very delicate but very detail-oriented on everything that you do you're doing a magnificent job and it really inspires me to keep going. Sometimes I look at my sewing projects and I just get depressed, it takes so long it's so much work and then sometimes at the end I don't even like it. 😢 But I just have to keep working or else I'm never going to get the skills and one day maybe one day I'll look at one of my projects and feel as proud as when I look at yours. I also think it's really cool that you get your sister involved I have a mom and a sister and they really want to be involved in my sewing but they all live so far away and that's really difficult to get them involved. I also haven't learned yet how to dress other people based off their sizes it's really difficult and I hope one day I can be as talented as you. ❤

@@kikiskreationss I'm a singer, so I have to make sure my gowns don't rip on stage 😆I sew because I'm really tall. metallic zippers are so strong, I trust them more than plastic :))))))

“Sweet Gumbo” to me. All different fabrics all come together in a wonderful and sweet design! I love Evangeline in the name, but when i think of Evangeline,I envision the night sky and the star. While both are from the movie, this dress is based of Tiana, the hard working and family loving heroine, not Evangeline, the shy and quiet firefly that only comes out at night.

Hand stitch the zipper in. You can make lots of little knotted stitches for extra security
