The amount of times the overhead UI blocking an enemy player is insane XD once it was even above the head of an enemy while i was turning around a corner, because the teammate was behind the wall perfectly, and then i was like "wait that T had a nametag"
I had quite a few times where overhead lead to me not killing the enemy and getting killed instead. So nice addition to the game in my oppinion. Seems like valve is getting the game to a playabel state. Looking forward to the first operation

Regarding that sound bug mentioned at the end of the video, this has been in the game since launch and was even in CSGO for as long as I remember. As I understand it, it's essentially a networking issue where client-side you have not made a step, but the packets that the server receives say that you did. It does not happen often, as usually these packets are in sync with each other, but can occur somewhat more frequently with a higher packet loss. If I had to guess the reason for the bug, it likely happens when you hit the walk/crouch key the tick before you make a step, but this input gets buffered to the next tick server-side, thus a footstep is made server-side, but not client-side. Networking issues like this are notoriously difficult to deal with and I may be completely off on the reasoning, but if it has been in this game and in CSGO for so long, it is very likely Valve either can't replicate it consistently enough to know how to fix it, or have deemed that it does not occur frequently enough to warrant a lot of time and effort fixing over other bugs.
I think it still needs some adjustment I was trying to shoot someone on dust2 A site from long and my teammate was in front of me.. So i was shooting above him when we peeked together and all i was shooting was an ak47 icon 🗿 It works when you aim directly at your teammate but it doesn't when you aim a teeny tiny bit above them
@MrMaxim , there is a bug on the "server dead body".. Before it was client-side, so it made dead boddies be in diffrent places. Well, now it seems to be back, I have seen vids of my game with friends on Premier, and daed boddies are NOT Server-sided now again! :O Kung är du! :)
I just have location enabled and set equipment to my mousebutton, so when i hold my side button it shows the equipment and when i release the mouse button it goes back to just the location. :)
Does anyone else have the issue that the playermodel (not the game) is laggy when you've opened your scoreboard? This mainly/only happens in the freezetime for me. I had this with my old build (i7 9700k with 2070 Super) and have it with my newer build (ryzen 9 7950x3d with 4080 super aorus master). I've 500+ fps all the time so that should not be the issue.
I think the hit registration is still messed up. Sometimes it feels so clean and other times it feels like nothing hits what so ever. Watched a few demos the other day I thought I hit the enemy and my bullet ghosted straight through them.
This is a good step, but I still feel like more could be done. I had a round where I died when going up mid in inferno, where an enemy was boosted on porch and I couldn't even see them because they were completely obscured by the overlay. (from a teammate in apts)
Why dont they make the enemy model in the front plain for the players view. So when an enemy gets in front of your teammate, his nametag is shown behind the enemies player model.
For me and the others I've played with faced the issue with volume button in scoreboard not working. Hopefully it's fixed now. thanks for always covering the updates
I don't know if this was fixed or not, but sometimes my game would completely freeze, not even crash, just freeze when someone plants/defuses a bomb. At first I thought it was the early months of the game and it will be fixed but I don't know why it's still happening considering the game (and every other game too) works just fine at stable 160fps

For your sound bug: Valve wants/needs a precise step-by-step write-down how to reproduce the bug you've shown. Only mentioning it won't make them fix it by any means.
cl_teamid_overhead_always Set to 0 to not show team ID or equipment over head. Set 1 to only show team ID over head (the arrow that usually only appears when you hover over a teammate). Set to 2 to show team ID and equipment permanently above teammates heads.
"Reduced the opacity of teammate names near the crosshair" is so stupid, i noticed it today and didn't know why teammate name wasn't showing lol, i guess i know now. Not useful imo.
oh no, spaghetti code again, why do you need a jumping kill icon for every weapon? why not just make jumping kill icon appear as a separate instance. adding new weapons is gonna be a pain in the ass with all the icon customizations

When the overhead feature was first added to the game i got caught out a few times with team mates being behind enemies which made me hestitate for a moment and die but that hasnt happened now in a long time.
2:50, I reported a bug about this, and both muting and blocking player names and avatars didn't work. Here is one more issue I reported recently related to the scoreboard: when all three categories are full (CT, T, Spec), you can't use the exit, vote... buttons. (I don't know if this occurs only on stretched resolutions), Also, I didn't check if they fixed it already.

the scoreboard issue was the mute voice chat button, one the most useful features for faceit

I miss an option when you could set team equipment between 0,1,2 so you coud see nothing, nicknames or only those color triangles. It was perfect.

my fps is capped at 60 after this update, when before is was usually around 100. yes I have vsync disabled anyone else have this issue??
Probably Just a reset of Ur settings. U should see other changes if that Is the case.

Is the overhead feature affected by smokes? would be pretty gamebreaking if you could tell where enemies are trough obstacles that way

The previous overhead costed me some rounds. The feature is overall to useful to disable it though.

i hated switching players to get to the bot and the death cam for bots kinda feel like in a movie.
while they’re working on the leaderboard, they should fix it so that damage doesn’t matter more than kills or MVP

I've actually had MWheelUp bound to toggle overhead+clear decals in CSGO and now just the toggle. Nice, frees up an easy to access input.
