I love my long handle large Le Pliage Longchamp bags, I got 4 of them. Funny and silly of me I didn’t realised they had different lines, I just thought they updated/replaced the original version. I have the original version and the club version. This bag always comes with me when I’m on holidays, it’s easy to pack away, roomy when you need it and it’s a very strong bag. It’s perfect for all kind of women.
Longchamp is special. This line is a functional workhorse that doesn’t need babysitting. I still prefer the original though. The colors were a little more subtle, and the gold hardware made these an understated elegant accessory. 🥰
Longchamp is an AMAZING brand with AMAZING bags. I have the neo version and I love it. I had a few others but gave them to my family members because they had more use for them but I am honestly always so happy to have one in my collection 👍
The Neo is discontinued ....sadly. It is the nicest of the Le Pliage bags, The original Neos, had only one small pocket and the straps were NOT adjustable. The newer Neos have 2 pockets and the straps are adjustable.
I didn’t realize my large original had two pockets because it was new! I just thought my small original didn’t have two pockets due to size. Thank you for continuing to teach me about my favorite brands 😍
The newly redesigned originals makes me love that line all over again! We are Longchamp girls 😍🥰😍. And you teach me so much too! So sweet of you to say friend 🥰
My favorite too. Only because I love the tone on tone AND I like that it doesn't have the contrasting color, horse and jockey logo on the body of the bag.

I bought several of these at airports in France about 20 years ago. They were $20 to $30. I gave them as gifts, I kept 2 of the backpack style for myself and a suede version of the top handle pliage. These are all in perfect condition today, and they really get used.

Great video! I have the small Neo shoulder bag and it carries extremely heavy for me. I think it's because my items puddle in the middle and feels like I'm carrying rocks. It would work better for me with an organizer.

I don’t do collections. I only collect money but I do own a classic Longchamp bag that I bought the first time when I visited Paris. It was cheaper than in USA plus tax free. I got the medium length handle in dark blue. Practice bag that has an elegant look. Good for traveling.

I was surprised to see in your video that the original has two pockets! I wonder which year they decided to include that larger pocket? I bought the original back in 2018 and it only had the one tiny pocket (which I found pretty useless because I'd worry things would fall out!). Great and very helpful review, thank you!

If 60,000 bags have to be repaired I would say there’s a serious issue with their product. The wear and tear on corners could be alleviated by manufacturing bag with leather on each corner
To be honest, I agree with you. Putting some leather on the corners would really help or just designing the corners differently in general to where they are curved and words, and not sharp. Thank you for your input!
Great video and I realize that I too love this particular size and strap length. They’re like LV speedy 25/30’s. Also wanted you to check out the new longchamp coated canvas line they have. I just got the black one for $260 and it’s very similar to the LV epi leather. I also got the thick web strap in black and pink. So gorgeous. You should check it out. Hi Morgan! Absolutely! literally two weeks after I put this video on RUclips, Longchamp discontinues the Neo line to replace it with the Energy. The city is completely different as it’s coated canvas and feels more like Epi leather! I wish Longchamp would bring back the Neo line.

Hello Ana! Thank your for reaching out and asking. It depends. If you want a more satchel style with a crossbody strap, then the only way to go would be Neo. If you want a long handle tote and can pick between the two…I honestly love the look of the original! Now that they have revised it with two interior pockets, it’s so nice! I don’t think you can go wrong with either line! 🥰

Love the Cuir line! I don’t have mine anymore and I am so upset with myself for selling it back to the real real! The leather on the newer Cuir lines is amazing! I’m not the biggest fan of the thick leather strap that comes on the small and medium sized however. But you would love it! Highly recommend!
Hi there! The fabric on the green line and the club are the same and not as thick as the Neo line. The Neo line has the thickest and silkiest nylon. However the bylines of club and green are still wonderful! Take care!
have you found that the originals now being 'recycled' have a different feel to the nylon? I tried talking to Longchamp directly and all they said was 'yes they do feel different' and that was all they said. :/. Ha ha. Thanks. Do you have any thoughts about it? xoxo

As a working woman, I like it that Longchamp bags work with me what with their versatility and sturdiness and, most importantly, without need of draining my pocket of my hard earned money; unlike some luxury brands that cost many thousand dollars but can barely carry a few essentials, and worse, are not even that well made.

If 60,000 bags have to be repaired I would say there’s a serious issue with their product. The wear and tear on corners could be alleviated by manufacturing bag with leather on each corner
To be honest, I agree with you. Putting some leather on the corners would really help or just designing the corners differently in general to where they are curved and words, and not sharp. Thank you for your input!

Great video and I realize that I too love this particular size and strap length. They’re like LV speedy 25/30’s. Also wanted you to check out the new longchamp coated canvas line they have. I just got the black one for $260 and it’s very similar to the LV epi leather. I also got the thick web strap in black and pink. So gorgeous. You should check it out. I will try to include item number/ link.

Hi Morgan! Absolutely! literally two weeks after I put this video on RUclips, Longchamp discontinues the Neo line to replace it with the Energy. The city is completely different as it’s coated canvas and feels more like Epi leather! I wish Longchamp would bring back the Neo line.

Hmmm, I’d say black from the originals since it will have two pockets. And I think the brown and gold hardware against the black are stunning

Hello Ana! Thank your for reaching out and asking. It depends. If you want a more satchel style with a crossbody strap, then the only way to go would be Neo. If you want a long handle tote and can pick between the two…I honestly love the look of the original! Now that they have revised it with two interior pockets, it’s so nice! I don’t think you can go wrong with either line! 🥰

Thanks, this was very informative. Do you know if they discontinued the Neo line? I am seeing it on resale but not on the official website. It seems it was replaced by the Energy line but I can't tell if they are similar designs.
They now have an energy line with the detachable strap. It mimics the old Neos!

The color of the club bag is a discontinued color called vintage pink! Nordstrom Rack had them in stock recently!

Love the Cuir line! I don’t have mine anymore and I am so upset with myself for selling it back to the real real! The leather on the newer Cuir lines is amazing! I’m not the biggest fan of the thick leather strap that comes on the small and medium sized however. But you would love it! Highly recommend!
is the fabric on the Green line as thick as the Neo and Club?
Hi there! The fabric on the green line and the club are the same and not as thick as the Neo line. The Neo line has the thickest and silkiest nylon. However the bylines of club and green are still wonderful! Take care!
have you found that the originals now being 'recycled' have a different feel to the nylon? I tried talking to Longchamp directly and all they said was 'yes they do feel different' and that was all they said. :/. Ha ha. Thanks. Do you have any thoughts about it? xoxo

As a working woman, I like it that Longchamp bags work with me what with their versatility and sturdiness and, most importantly, without need of draining my pocket of my hard earned money; unlike some luxury brands that cost many thousand dollars but can barely carry a few essentials, and worse, are not even that well made.
You are completely spot on! It feels good to know you can buy just one of these bags for way under the cost of other luxury brands. Longchamp is a great company who barely raises their prices even though they can. I love all of your points! Thank your for watching! 🥰
