What is Ecrew? When I had to uproot and move to Indiana, there was a car community called Bcrew (B for Bloomington, Indiana). These guys became my family. Instead of partying on the weekends, I was working on cars- and I loved it. Since starting youtube, I have started what I call Ecrew. It's not supposed to be some childish "Logang squad." It's a community where you get to take 10min out of your day and be involved in a build, but more importantly it's a family.

Three days to wire a (relatively) modern EFI engine to a completely different harness and have it all work as expected, is not too far out of the ball park. One screwup and it's 'Post Toasties' for whatever component that happens to be involved.😜 Good plan using the original ECM to fire it, just in case the 'magic smoke' comes out!😁👍 As Jimi tha Boss mentioned below (and I caught it too), don't forget the pinch bolt(s) in the steering shaft U-joint... both of them!! We'd kinda like to keep you around for a while.💖

I know I'm a little late, but if you take the wire for the neutral safety switch and just loop it back to the plug you'll be able to start it without jumping it like that. That's how I had to wire up my 89 when I put the SR in it.
Took me 6 months to wire my car, Could not find any diagrams related to my car and had to rewire from scratch with no prior knowledge. But now if something goes wrong at least i will know where to look - Great thing about doing it your self/Learning

WOW MAN! I was talking to Saif Naber (Naber Racing) in Lancing MI about purchasing a Haltech Elite 2000 for my 2JZ Mk3 Supra! He actually quoted me at a decent price but it’s going to require a new engine harness for my setup....which is $$$$.
On the other note, I was thinking to just upgrade to an ECUMaster Black stand-alone....seeing as I already have the ECUMaster Classic with all the sensors.
Haltech is awesome though! And I still contemplate getting an Elite 2000. 🙂 Emelia and Shawn (or Sean/Shaun) should enjoy that ECU and all its features.

Its easy, match wire to wire. Whats hard is when you dont have a schematic to help you match wire to wire.
