Great to see you out and about again in your camper. I’d defo get your man to service your brakes. If finances allow you could invest in a disc conversion on the front. My van is a ‘72 and came with factory fitted discs and they are great. I love your worts and all videos at least that hill start was spot on...
Great to see the van back mate! Enjoyed the videos from last summer! Since I last commented after years of wishin I’ve finally bought myself a T2! Currently in the garage (as per) getting bodywork sorted so should hopefully be up and out by mid June! Looking forward to more uploads will give me ideas on where I can take mine 👍🏼
So glad you’re back on the road! Missed these videos! Soo jealous! You are living the dream! Please keep making these amazing videos! Definitely need to get the brakes sorted👍
Bloody hell, Joe! I'd forgotten about your channel. Good to see a new video. I have the same colour Early Bay Dorma and probably like you, have only used it once in the last 13 months! Happy days ahead hopefully. Keep posting. David.
Love the whole serious of vw videos beautifully edited....1st time I have watched youtube on a nice TV.. need to do that to appreciate the cinematography...looking forward to this year vids...on Europe maybe
Having just hired a T2 and driven it around Penzance, Porthcurno, Land’s End and St Just, to name just a few, I feel your pain when it comes to hills, traffic lights, tight country lanes and the elements. Great vlogging btw, love your videos
Nice van, i like the colour. My 72 dub is in for a service for a few bits and I need to make some curtains. You should get some compact disc brakes, makes it much easier on hills. Oh and some wiper blades to stop that squeakyness, easy fix. I shall subscribe!
Love seeing the bus back. Are you going to document the resto work? I'd also get the brakes checked they shouldn't be that bad. There's a couple of vids of my Early Bay I've posted on RUclips.
Hi Joe just found you…I have a 1979 T2 bay called Amber , she’s a dream come true and on my small RUclips channel . I’m in Southampton so not far from you, gonna catch up with your vids 😁 love your van.
I've never really been drawn to the van life, but there was something about this that gave me the vibes of the first time I drove a car by myself lol. Wonder if it feels like that every time you step behind the wheel in this? Glad to see she still runs! lol
I have one the same colour as Joe's but in a Dormobile conversion. I have to be aware of myself when I'm driving as I realise I have a big stupid grin on my face most the time as they're such fun to drive. I drove a few before I bought mine and know there are some shockers out there but mine is a breeze to drive. Nice steering, brakes are good but you have to be aware you need more room etc, and the gearbox literally changes using a finger, it is so smooth. The best bit is the freedom. Just going where you want and parking it where you want when it's allowed (France is ideal). Wherever I go children point or wave. They don't know its old or what make, but they know it's something different.
Great to see it out again 👌🏽👌🏽
😎🙏🏼

I might make a couple of videos of the resto process, but it depends on my schedule at the time!

Hey Joe, any more BayWindow content planned?
LOVELY - what's the color code on that earlybay?
Any more camper videos coming?

What speed do you get uphills ?
Excuse me, how can you lock the door so that it cannot be opened from the outside.
Yo pls do your campervan review
How do you find keeping it under a cover? Does it get mouldy inside?
