A short session wading the bank on Harray Loch in Orkney , fished for just over an hour after my work . Fished a team of wet flies but it proved to be a little tricky but i managed to winkle one out.

Cheers James , i usually fish Harray from the boat with a mate from Orkney we usually catch plenty. That was just a quick stop on Harray , i went to Kirbister loch but it was really low and weedy so i never bothered,

My grandfather William Balderstone lived nearby and would have fished Harray Loch in the 70s and 80s.

Hi Will, yeah it was just a quick session ..after the fishing i went to get a bite to eat and find a camp spot , i'm sure you seen that on the other channel . I went to Kirbister Loch but was really low and a lot weed ..so i just sacked it and bought a few cans and pitched the tent in South Ronaldsay ..

The fish on Harray are well distributed around the loch. I moved one every 15 minutes. It does have good fish and my best was 2lbs.
