Great video. Always wondered about night surf fishing. Is it the time for those big ones or are they in the daylight also and just not biting? One of our favorite spots to fish. Does he make the Over The Bar Rods? Great P.B. fish.

You can definitely catch them in Daylight too! We just like being the only ones on the beach sometimes. The tide time and calm water of the night that helps too. Mid day warm sun brings bigger winds.

Thanks. Usually windy when I'm there during the day. Best tide to fish there?

Where do you find the blue crab

Anywhere Inshore normally with the correct license. But you can buy them at most local bait shops or seafood markets. Always use fresh if you can you’ll get the best results.

Didn't a sewage spill happen in St. Augustin and the authorities said for your own safety don't fish in the area as yet ?

Yes there was a spillage further south of us. This is now weeks later and it’s had many tides and time to settle and filter. Although, I still might be Leary of keeping them for another week. Catch and release is fine.
