The video of the Pier is crazy. I fish there each visit at least 1 time and always had success. That is very disappointing but as you mentioned it will change with a few storms. Fishing with Bob always looks like fun.
Hey Man, great video. Local myself and spend as much time as I can fishing. This was inspiring enough that I'm about to put my boat in for the weekend so thanks! Btw, tore up the trailer for my mako at Butler, it needs to be dredged and cleaned up for sure.

Butler West is my favorite ramp for fishing that area of the ICW. I've seen the water up in the parking lot before, but I've never seen it that low! And yes, there are obstructions on the right side (looking down the ramp at the water). I was told a few years back they were rocks and the city was going to fix it. HMMM maybe not? I have just driven on down to Bing's Landing to launch a couple of times due to low tides.
Hopefully they will send a crew to remove the obstructions
Fished out there a few weeks ago and hit whatever is out there and dinged my prop pretty good. Nice day on the water!
I hit mine also during low tide closer to the ICW side than the dock side
