The Bulldawg is probably the best soft plastic musky lure of all time. They put a couple hundred fish in my boat. Good choice. You don’t need any help there 😉. The tubes are good too! I saw another guy mentioned the bigger bump board. Also a pair of high quality (Knipex) hook cutters are a must. A long 11” bent nose set of needle nose pliers for deeper hooked fish help. And jaw spreaders. Helluva day there, you could make a lot more $ guiding those in the summer and ditch the southern heat. This vid is a pretty good add lol

Incredible day. As some others mentioned this is something thats unheard of. All the stars would have needed to align to get that many big fish eating. Interesting too see if you took note on some things. Even being around lots of fish getting them to bite is usually a timing issue. Was this 2 hour period during a major on full moon with some storms incoming or other environmental trigger by chance?

PS: recommend getting a large, foldable, wide bumper board that you can lay on the floor to measure - always wet it first though.

With how much money you spend on live scope you can’t get yourself a bump board? The other thing is that even after seeing you catch those three monsters, if I had all the money in the world I wouldn’t wanna be able to have it that easy where you can see down there and throw at them. as a guy who fishes traditionally all but a couple days out of the year as i dont have live sonar, i will defend this guy a little because i have fished the exact way that he is fishing in someone elses boat. some days youre better off casting structure, some days youre better off doing it this way. If you go and throw at literally 150 fish in ten hours on live sonar and dont get one to even engage on a bait is it really cheating? to me this is no different than side imaging. you know exactly where the fish is. if you cast back at a fish that shows up on side imaging youre doing LITERALLY the same thing.

That’s what all technology does. It basically removes the art and skill from any activity. It makes our lives easier. Some like it, some don’t. I’ll say this. As we move forward the ones with the actual skill will stand out from the crowd, and be appreciated for their raw talent. The people who rely on technology to level the playing field for themselves will be white noise.

Something I noticed about this video besides the incredible Muskie…I couldn’t hear a single noise from that trolling motor.
It’s 100% silent other than the cables above the water moving when it turns.
