I used the existing sending units, except for the speedo (mine had none). As far as accuracy, they appeared to be accurate. As a side note, do NOT tie the fuel sending grounds into the common ground, like I did in the video. That messes up the readings.
Nice job with dash. I have a 1992 searay 270 sundancer. My question to you is with the new gauges do you have to have new sending units for them or can you use the existing Searay ones? If you use existing ones, are they accurate? Is there a particular brand to use to retrofit old searay gauges? Thank you
Hey man great video! I am rewiring my grandpa's old boat and the wiring is a goddamn dissaster!! I managed to get it al cleaned up and working but i cant find out how to get the backlight on the gauges working, i would appreciate your help !
I know this is old, but hope you still see it. I just replaced the gauges in my 1997 330 Sundancer with these teleflex Lido's and noticed that the tachs are not as bright as the other gauges. Did you happen to notice anything like that?

I would have gone for a brushed aluminium backing tbh, looks more sharp and less cheap

Brian Tye actually, my tach seemed pretty much like the other ones
hmmmm ok, i guess I'll have to get with teleflex and see what they say.
Thank you for replying by the way!!!
@@btye1 Buy some 194 LED bulbs on Amazon and make the gauges brighter and whatever color you want.
Hi there, great video by the way, are you going to run into any issues with fusing on the gauges, since they're daisy chained together ?
Eloy Gonzalez Jr, I did run into a ground issue in the fuel gages, seeing there's no chassis ground like a car would have
grounding would be an easy fix, i think, but is there any need to fuse each gauge independently? Im not very well versed in auto electric
No, there shouldn't be any need to fuse them
The temp sender is faulty?
