Ms Optics lenses seem so interesting and who does love something hand made in small batches. But from online reviews/tests most of the lenses seem to be on the softer side without and really crazy character that would make you look past the lens inherent softness.

I just got my copy of this lens and regret not buying it through JCH . My copy cant reach the minimum focus distance of .4 . Its stops at .5 . However it is quite a handsome and smooth lens so im keeping it

Fascinating lens. I almost feel like the optic would have benefited from a slightly bigger form factor, not much, but there exist pancake 28mm lenses that have actual aperture rings.
The results from the crazy-bright aperture on the pancake are… interesting. And it looks decent enough stopped down. Expensive, tho,
