The benefits I mention in this video are independent of paternity/maternity leave. You'll get them automatically if your child is born in DK, otherwise you need to do some paperwork.

I am a father of 3 children, who all 3 live at their mother's address, and I have to pay for the allowance, since our household has been divided. And if they were to live with me, the situation would be reversed. It's actually regulated by what income both parents have, and quite often they simply take away your custody, so I am actually paying the exact amount you made a calculation for+ a extra 130 kr pr child, in addition because of the custody fee. And I can assure you the money I pay, doesn't grow on trees.

Sorry but you need to address the issue with divorce, because if you are a father and you get a divorce, then the picture is quite different..
