Cracking venue and a cracking vid mate unlucky on not qualifying but fished absolutely blinding match making that quick change to the metherd just goes to show how reading your peg and watercraft is key on big open Waters. Grate video mate hope you and dad are keeping well and looking forward to the next video mate. keep it up!!!
Another great insight, quick switch to an alternative tactic, and steady match. So close. Best of luck at Southfield. It HAS to happen there, if only to prove that staying local sometimes pays off. Thanks for helping to keep my nails short....its getting a bit tense. Notifications are ON!
Brilliant video again Jamie, last Ike I fished it it took me an hour to walk to my peg 1.2miles away (walked the wrong way round) great idea to change tactics less than an hour in brave and correct call
Hi Jamie you are getting close to winning that section. Don’t beat yourself up as you hadn’t fished it for 2 years and you did make the right decisions. I still think those fingers will come good soon. Have you been watching the Drennan reservoir festival results? Some good weight have come out. Regards Bill
Hi Jamie it’s a reservoir league fished over several rounds, not a festival sorry but it seems to be very competitive! Drennan have peen publishing the results on their site. Have a look it may interest you for another year. Bill
@@CatchFishingChannel It's a 6-match series, with 4 rounds on Bough Beech (which you know), and 2 other rounds on Weirwood and Ardingly Resevoirs. I haven't fished it, but the venues are a maximum of 30 minutes from me, the closest is 10 minutes away. Its way "Darn Sarf" (you probably guessed that), and there's just 2 matches remaining. 69lbs of whip-caught roach won one of the rounds on Bough Beech. Here's a link to the FB page - facebook.com/DrennanSouthEastReservoirChampionship/?ref=py_c
Shame you lost that one early doors, thanks for sharing and best for future matches 🤞 Ive learned a bit from just watching a few of your uploads, just subbed 👍👍👍
live near here and have only fished it once at a young age. Need to fish here again. great video by the way. I would love to see a match at Hartsholme Park in Lincoln. (That would be interesting)
Need to see ya win summat Na mate. I’m a new subscriber, you ever fished Norwood down Killamarsh? Carp there are unbelievable on feeder, they like mini wafters too on method. Your a inspiration mate, love you what you do.
Good effort Jamie, good adjustment. I do wonder if you had a second 50 meter line set up alongside your method line to try double worm in the last hour or two if you might have put a run together. Anyways great vid as always mate 👍
Hello Jamie. In hindsight you have started on the so called correct method and made the decision to make the change but you never know, without starting with the traditional way and getting the blades feeding it might not of brought the bigger fish into your peg? Suppose as usual that's why it's called fishing and not catching! Tight lines 👍
Hi Jamie, great video. I get pestered by small fish like this on a water i fish. Difference is it that its 8-10 feet deep. Would you use a Method in that depth of water also?
I adore your videos you inspired me to start fishing I know its a long shot but is there any chance we could have a chat about some tips and inspiration
Thanks Aaron and I hope your fishing is going well! If you have any questions mate just email me jamieaharrison@hotmail.co.uk I'll do my best to help :)
ive fished peg 12 many times .. the slabs never seem to settle on that peg (or one either side) where as on 14,15 and 16 they will get there heads down
Hi Jamie, I've just been giving some 0.10 (13.6 lb/6.16kg) Matrix Submerge Sinking Feeder Braid. What size florocarbon would you suggest for the leader? Thanks in advance.

Thanks mate much appreciated!
Hi Jamie. I think if it was me, no expert and others may say I’m wrong, but, I would have tried meat with pva mesh bags
For the matches, i see you can switch between cage/method, also, feeding while fishing. Any link for the rules, seems they aren't FIPSed
Sorry for you Jamie you didn't do better. Finger's crossed for the next one X (That not a kiss it a Finger's crossed :

@3:00 you wouldn't wan do that in December 🧐🙊
Looking back next time you should try a 1lb half feeded rod half Oz lead PVA bag off 8m pellet short hooklink all in the bag . 🤔
Many carp in there please anyone?
Why do people lose their feeling emas they get older they are like robots and act like it's a job but then again match anglers are like that
