A belated Happy Birthday to you, David! I hope you had a wonderful celebration! It’s been many years since I’ve been to Acapulco (1985). I’m probably due for another visit!
Your video is great. I see you had a blast. It was a very good thing you celebrated with some alcohol. So bad it you had to leave next day. Actually Acapulco is one of my favorite places because this is where I met the love of my life. We had a job convention and I met her a few hours before heading back to Mexico City. We where all having fun on our final day and I asked her to dance even though she had her dancing partner or whoever that person was but it was great she agreed and on the following day we were lining up waiting for the buses that would take us back home. I saw her again with the group of her friends and waved at her from distance. I came in the bus and sat in one of the available seats and after a while she came in too but there were no seats left but the one next to me. We had the change to get to know each other a little more on the way back. Long story short one week later I asked her to be my girlfriend and now we have two babies and had been together for five years tomorrow is our anniversary. Thanks Acapulco
I really hope Acapulco comes back to its glory days. It used to be Mexico’s paradise, American politicians and Hollywood Stars would visit Acapulco very often back in the day.
8:13 😂 Too funny! Happy belated birthday 🎂🎉🎈. You sure did enjoyed yourself. I was hoping that you would have jumped into that blue lit horse and buggy for us. That would have been hilarious 😂
Do not worry, for i listen mainly, I lived part time all over Acapulco.I helped the people, as I have helped people all over the world, who do not beg, out of my limited excess. I always invited people to eat with me, and gave them the money to pay the bill before entering. Happy born day 🎂🍰🎈💕❤️🇺🇸😊
You were supposed to take that glistening 'Cinderella Coach' home! But it would have turned into a pumpkin and the driver would have turned into a mouse at midnight! Wow! :)
Tao of David you are a one man Acapulco tourist PR agency! And doing an awesome job!! And you have convinced me to return after 30 years of bad PR! I thank you!!
Acapulco was once THE place to be and be seen in Mexico. Had its golden years in the last century when celebrities like Liz Taylor, John and Jackie Kennedy or Rita Hayword made it a popular destination for weddings, honeymoons or birthdays , or even owned properties like Johnny Weissmuller (Tarzan) and John Wayne. Later it became popular with weekend partygoers from central Mexico and people looking for a vacation home at the beach, and on the new millenium with Spring Breakers from north of the border. Sadly crime and drug violence hit it hard some years ago and it has since struggled to regain its reputation and attract the tourists that once flocked to its beaches. Its a pity because it is a really nice place.
Thanks man, i'm gonna reveal a secret, I'm planning on being back in Indonesia in August via Sydney, mainly Sumatra but prob be in Bali again. Looking forward to being back in Australia!
