Yeah true but people with black/african heritage should be acknowledged as so. Being ‘black’ in America isn’t really about the colour of the skin, it’s more the culture. There is no disadvantage in today’s age for being black apart from the poor distribution of hereditary wealth from prejudice in the past, leading most black folk to have to struggle for a come up. So I’d say there is a massive difference to being dark skinned and having heritage based on almost non existent external racism but it is only a preconception.
