Little fun fact, I live in the same exact region, in Czech Republic, that Livonia was inspired by :) (For those who don't know, this map - Livonia - was also inspired by region here in Czech Republic same as Chernarus; Livonia is inspired by Kostelany region near Kroměříž and Chernarus is inspired by Ústí nad Labem. And nearly at the end of the video - the Dambog observation tower was one of my and my friends favorite place to play airsoft.
@@tony499 No it's not. They've took part of Czech republic, collected data and from that they've made a map. Same goes for Chernarus. When I simplify it, you cut a square from map, make some adjustements, place buildings, vegetation - objects in general, make necessary config files, layers and so on and put it ingame and it's done.

So they used a similiar eagle and a similiar name combined from both variants. Very creative you see..:D (As of today, *all* BENZINA stations are being slowly renamed to ORLEN..)

Curiously enough I have been there 10 times but this was the last (and it seems I'll never return). However some years ago I met a girl there (Now a good friend of mine) that lives like 2 kilometers away from the place from which Livonia is based. I want to visit all the locarions one day..
Hey nice video :) you mentioned the female statue, this can be found on DayZ Livonia in the northern part of Topolin (across the river) by the ruined compound. Coordinates on that game being X:014 & Y:078, I'm unsure if the coordinates line up with Arma 3 but its worth a check

Wow they really did their research on the Baltic states/ Poland. Livonia really does look and feel like the baltic region to me ( I have Lithuanian family and visit Lithuania every year, this includes southern Lithuania where this is set)
@@InternetExplorerer What you say is where Livonia is supposed to be on the map in arma world but topography of Livonia is copy-paste central Czechia (game producer is from Czechia) and whole in-game infrastructure I mentioned including all names of towns and villages is copy-paste Poland. Maybe except for rural houses that are taken from Chernarus map which are clearly East European/post-soviet and this is the only thing that resembles Lithuania in Livonia. Livonia also has mostly deciduous forests which are more typical for Central Europe than East/North
As far as I can tell the shorter Latin one is "who is near and far from god" - Google is just being a bit shaky about quod which has a few translations
The Latin inscription at 6:54 says "To those who leave everything in the hand of God, and for God to see everything in their hands." I've been studying Latin for 8-9 years. I will say that the text is a bit confusing, and I may be slightly off on this one, but that's the best that I can conjure.
I live in Lithuania and sometimes in countryside it is possible to see crosses near the roads my Father says: "It is a tradition to place crosses at the road for good luck." but I saw them only in Vilnius Region. Maybe that's because Vilnius was occupied by poland back in the 30's.
Because it is. It's based on the area south of Kroměříž. Zdounky, Kostelany, Karlín and such. Similiar as Chernarus. Look on Google Maps, you will most likely recognize some of the places.
So... i found something else on this map... it's between the line of grid 003002 and 003003 just south of the altitude marker 487 on map.. it' looks like a small cement block that has some kind of metal circle thing on the top and is marked red on the top surface..... it's in the middle of nowhere, so just thought i shared it here.

I found the woman statue at 014078. It's next to a destroyed building by the farm, across the river from Topolin.

This is set in Poland, you can tell by names of towns and Orlen-style gas stations. Also bears don't live in Baltics
