I could listen to Forrest Galante talk for hours on JRE, best guest ever
Totally agree!
Absolutely. Forrest just telling stories on a podcast would be the shit!
I've been obsessed bro, underated.
Absolutely. He’s the only guest that makes Rogan watchable.

This guy took Professor Oak's challenge to a whole new level.
He really follows in the footsteps of Steve Irwin. Unlike a lot of the other bullcrap extinct animal shows, he actually finds stuff. He actually does things! From watching whale hunts to dealing with poachers I enjoy this show.
Malachi Phoniex I miss Steve so much I remember when he died my parents kept it a secret from me because if I found out Steve Irwin was gone I think I would has lost it
another one josh gates in the beginging he wanted his show to be like this but the network wanted more crypted
So he's got this friend who is a biologist that says he's seen his dogs play with a Tasmanian tiger. The guy doesn't want his name released because he thinks it will ruin his career.
@@SiriusDraconis um i think he came out of the closet and was he a park ranger???? so he was more believable to the wilder academy
Funny Stuff that actually happened to me with Michael Jackson
It’s so sad they only did 2 seasons. This show was so damn inspiring and so educational. I have learned so much from Forrest. It gives hope to the world and I think it needs to be brought back. Truly an amazing work of art ❤
I see shows that don't even get attention yet they still get a other season and a other after that yet they flop I have high hopes this will get more seasons I would luv new seasons
Apparently they were gonna do a 3rd season but then covid happen, I wish they would still keep it going
Honestly… Forrest’s passion for wildlife is contagious.
Extinct or alive is by far my favorite show, Forrest and his team are the best! 💖❤️🐢🐊🐆
I find it really funny that when Forrest finds an animal, its literally the first time that animal has ever seen a human, and the first thing it hears is forests gitty teenage girl freak out right in its face...
We have to seem like the strangest aliens ever to these creatures
Giddy
All i can think about now is aliens me for the first time and getting gitty because im cuban and Italian 😂
He stands for something. I wish there were bigger programs to stop and eliminate poachers. Love you Forrest. You’ve given me light when I’ve needed it most. Thank you.
AMEN
Yes I agree too and the biggest thing is poverty. If we give these poor people in third world countries money and opportunity and most importantly education because to a large degree they are ignorant and don’t understand. They might have a cattle killed by a leopard or something or a rare tiger in India and they might shoot it because they are poor and can’t feed their family now so the government can reimburse them.
He stands for theft- stealing the discoveries of others to rise to popularity
In science where the only currency is discovery
He is a hack
“Galante’s actions, which amounted to him claiming a discovery that had already been made a year before, are emblematic of a bigger, more common problem, said Markus Eichhorn, a forest ecologist at University College Cork who has studied exploitative practices in field ecology. And it’s not just a problem because a TV host failed to give credit where it’s due,”
hes a well known fraud. Look it up. He lied about his grandfather rediscovering the Colecanth and he was not the first to rediscover the Caiman species. A Columbian biolgist discovered it first, told Forrest, and then Forrest saw it for himself and claimed to be the first. Colonial biologist is the term. Hes a fraud
I hope extinct or alive never ends because that man is amazing
me too
I wish he'd look for the Golden Toad in Costa Rica. There might be an isolated population in the Cloud Forest somewhere away from the touristy side of Monte Verde.
He actually talked about that forrest in jre podcast
I wish he would come to the Pacific Ocean and hunt for animals like Thylacoleo, Moa, Meiolanid turtles etc
@@unknownpikachu7522 why don't you
You can see in this man's eyes that he LOVE what he is doing. PASSION!! or Calling, but this inspires me to do what I love🙏
15:29 The tortoise is like, "Yo! Why are you screaming? Where are you taking me?"
Then kisses are dropped 😂
So glad there are people out there fighting for the animals of our world and show people not only the beauty of the animals but of our planet.
Fascinating man, with an extremely interesting life and work. An inspiration, would love to be able to do these things.
Agreed. I'm usually more interested in the detours and other finds that don't pertain to the main theme in these episodes.

He has helped so many endangered animals and ones thought to be extinct. He is an amazing human .

The kind of dude who will hopefully and rightfully so go down in history books.
Forrest is amazing, I believe Steve Irwin's love for animals is living through Forrest.
Really interesting! Extinct or Alive is such an incredible series, so cool to see this side of it.
I hope the show continues. It's not only great intertainment it helps save wildlife and the world. I live in a small spot in the woods. Way to many people have no idea what it's like to see a natural area of the world
Forest is this generation Steve irwin
Nobody comes close to Steve,
Vin Lop what makes Steve so much better?
Wes s He is an untouchable god. No in is fit to question his superiority
No he's not
Pretty sure Steve Irwin was this generations steve Irwin
when he holds the rio appoporis caiman saying that this is the most incredible thing ive ever done

I absolutely love Forest and his mission. Keep up the amazing work you are doing man very inspiring!
I tend to become so happy when forrest is :) it really makes me feeling better and exciting too hear him speak about anything
I've seem several of the programs. Love them all. Makes me wish when I was younger and still in school I'd have had a tv show like this to watch. I looked biology and maybe would have pursed a career in it and maybe got to do a little of what he does. He's a very fortunate man to do what he loves for a living.
More power to U Forest. Keep up the good work U do.
Come to Australia and find the Thylacine. There has been allot of sightings of late, on the mainland in south Australia and on Tasmania
Shivor Shank i think they find it already they recorded
RP Antraxx no he has tried two times. One in Tasmania and one in mainland Australia. They were unsuccessful but he plans on going back.😊
I meant someone else but i wish he goes bavk and find definitive proof they still alive or better find the animal
It's in Papua
RP Antraxx what’s that?
he’s done so much good for the world 🌎 it’s inspiring
Love the show. Some animals i have never heard of but its very interesting. Some episodes were hard to watch. Like the slaughter of whales and sea lions. That was hard to watch but on the other hand seeing Forrest get emotional shows how much he actually cares for the animals
Zimbabweans are great people. Maybe its the environment we were raised in most of us have a great respect for wildlife.

@@dillongallatin1486 Rhodesia had an 80% black VOLUNTEER armed forces... they were fighting against communism, it had jack shit to do with race. they went from being a modernized country with an economy that was $1USD=$2 Rhodesian dollars, to being one of the poorest countries that has poachers using makeshift firearms with stolen mining equipment.(they had artillery, helicopters and modern rifles such as the FAL before the dirty communists got their hands on the country thanks to the fucking UN)

i love this guys work, it’s just second to none, i love it & id love to work on his team! would be an absolute dream
I would love to help looking for some of these animals I'm glad theres people like him out there
Bless this man with every discovery 🙏 🙌 ❤ 💙.
I love his unique spin on the classic wildlife host he adds a more adventurous vibe to it well still making it genuine and about nature and wildlife.
This is one of those guys whose name perfectly matches what they do. He's gallant, and he treks through the forest
Love this bloke, a real champion for wildlife in the world
Best episode yet
Thank you Collider for showcasing the work of Forrest Galante and the entire EOA Team. I became acquainted with Forrest via the Joe Rogan Experience (with an audience of 100 million plus, it’s now being called the most popular show in the World).
After two appearances, Forrest is now known as one of the most popular and interesting guests and I look forward to his next visit.
Ps - please feel free to share this with Forrest and the team. If you do, please tell them, I’m willing to bet you could get JRE to sponsor the search for an animal which has piqued Joe Rohan’s interest; the (supposedly) extinct Tasmanian Thylacine aka The Tasmanian Tiger.
I figured he would go far. Still has alot to live up to with his grandfather but he is well on his way. That's exactly the type of people we need. Someone willing to do anything just to go out and look. Just to go out and see if the animals might still be there. So many folks call themselves explorers still these days. How many of them find themselves in a Columbian river with a 6 foot croc on their laps!?! This dude is great. I hope his philosophy if anything lives on through others. Real world philosophy to real world issues.
9:01 Can we just stop and take a moment to appreciate that people like this exist. Like, the dude is unironically using animatronic hippo cams to get tighter shots. Credibility: fully established.
he uses it to try to provoke a response from another territorial hippo. great episode about the Madagascar dwarf hippo btw
After everything that happened, I stepped away from collider for a while. The algorithm hadn't showed any content. I figured id check out what s going on, and this is by a far the best collider content since schnepp past away. I love the new direction.
Joseph Harrell what happened?
I look up to this guy! Absolute mad lad
I really wanted to do what this man does.. I wanted to be a Marine Biologist and went to school with a heart for it but got shot down by reality, negativity and life’s downs for myself.. I just changed my major for something else that’s reachable in my own terms for rn..
I wish I could’ve worked with a guy like Forrest G.
I just learned of this guy i live in mexico and saw him on a joe rogan pod cast and im hooked he is so amazing and smart
RIGHT on Man me too
I saw forrest on Joe rogan and now im obsessed with his work!
Amazing man!!
Forrest looks and sounds like he would be a great friend and person. Great job looking for these species. Had zero clue he was on naked and afraid
Loved the series hope to see more fascinating keep up the good work forest
I literally cried watching the episode as well. What beautiful cat.
one of the best shows if not the best on tv right now.
This man does a job that is infinitely dangerous and is one of the most important in the world I absolutely love forest since I saw him on jre
This series is awesome
If he ever has kids they will be soooo lucky. Adventure Time, All the Time!! He is so amazing.
All I can say is, that I respect the hell out of these people.
He’s by far one of the coolest people on this planet. Love everything he does.

This guy is a true inspiration. With a face and a personality like that, he still managed to find some success.
The world needs more positive shows like this!
Excellent show, I watch it whenever it is on.
Absolutely loved this video
Forrest is the Man..... How excited he gets. As kids we wanted to be forrest....and secretly still do...
This is some amazing content. What a great message!! I can't wait to watch more!
Go, Forrest!

Amazing person and show. Keep it up!
Really enjoy this show
You are an amazing person and I know you will change the world.
14:01 Forrest doesn't listen for Bird calls, he listens for caiman splashes.
Me watching Forrest breakdown animal movie scenes: This guy is really passionate about animals, I bet he's got more interesting videos I can watch
Me like two minutes into this video: Oh this guy is crazy crazy
“I don’t know what got me into conservation” - proceeds to tell story about how his grandpa was a bushman in Africa
I love that he’s willing to physically get involved with protecting the animals. Much respect. Aloha
I love this so much.
March 16th 2020 I just watched you move a whole herd of elephants to save them from Human Animal conflict thank you so much so much
Holy sh!t that was amazing
I love this guy
I’m going to tell my kids this was Forrest Gump
All jokes aside, this guy is a legend ♥️
Saving animals. Love this guy 🙏🏴
"The ceolacanth is so ancient, it is believed to have gone extinct before fish even evolved!" Forest Galante
He means boned fish
@@cian7302 No, he meant ray-finned fish. They are bony fish, but are lobe-finned. And it was just a joke about a small gaff.
@14:18 Forrest: This is the most incredible animal!
The caiman: *head bobbing* 👁____👁
Man is out there truly living the dream
I just know Steve Irwin is looking down, smiling proud at Forrest right now…. Thank you Mr.Gallante ❤️
The Honshū Wolf, Passenger Pigeon, Caspian Tiger, and indeed the Golden Toad are all animals that he should search for. Also, 2 questions for Forrest: Do you think that there’s a chance that some sorts of mythical creatures could be based on real life animals? Do you think that there’s a possibility that Megalodon could still be alive?
You should probably ask him this on his Instagram, you'll never get an answer here
Honestly wish this dude was my biology teacher
Forest is a legend this guy need keep this going wt a guy hope he dose a world tour come to north west uk
When I was a kid I found this huge, imposing insect that no one knew anything about. I really thought I had discovered a new bug with nightmarish characteristics. Shiny black, with big jaws, huge claws, and a stinger an inch long. Overall length: over 2 inches. The Vinegaroon.
So weird to see him not discussing dmt with Mr. Rogan. This is really cool!
huge inspiration because of you i will fly around the world at do the same as you
Forrest’s Grandpa is the reason for the Pokémon “Relicanth”…. Always wondered about that Pokémon 😅❤️
I wish steve irwin and this dude could do a collab :'(
It would be my dream to do something like this
Imagine if Steve Irwin was alive and Forest and him had a show, absolute dream team
Wish I could have the same job so amazing
Maybe Forrest and his amazing crew can take another shot on the formosan clouded leopard? We hear about new sitings in 2019 after the first show was taken by him and his crew and they are a lot more experienced then on their first search. I have also some idea Forrest has some unfinished bussiness to do there because not everything went as smooth as when they where more experienced. If one crew can find this animal, they are.
Forest really needs to do a show for children, he could be the new Crocodile Hunter lol
thank goodness
Tiawan is one thing - for sure, there's no way Forrest would've wrestled a gun from a poacher/guerilla somewhere like the Congo.
Steve Irwin reincarnated, Forrest you have Australia's blessing
