Space Age Rhythm gives you the authentic sound of a vintage studio rhythm section that’s perfect for styles like jazz, bossanova, big band, easy listening, hi-fi bachelor pad, and any music that could use some unique, quirky, kitschy, retro sounds. This library is all about character, vintage tone, and specialty articulations that will bring personality and authenticity to your tracks.
This library requires the full retail version Native Instruments’ Kontakt (version 6.7 or higher). The free Kontakt Player is NOT supported. It is, compatible with most major DAWs (Ableton Live, Logic and Garage Band, ProTools, Steinberg Cubase, Reaper, and others).

Sounds really cool. Does the percussion and drum modules come with built in patterns or do you have to program your own? Thanks
Hi! It doesn't have built-in patterns, you'd program your own. There are tempo-synced loops for the maracas and tambourine (also snare brush loops). For pre-made patterns, I'd suggest the companion product, Space Age Pop (authentic-soundware.com/products/space-age-pop) which has hundreds of percussion WAV loops in different tempos and feels that were recorded during the same sessions as this library. Or, for the best of both worlds, get the Space Age Bundle! (authentic-soundware.com/products/space-age-bundle)

Why not mention Juan Garcia Esquivel? This is clearly completely inspired by him down to the graphics and title
Esquivel was definitely an inspiration! But if you listen to all the demos I think you'll hear there were many others as well: Henry Mancini, Xavier Cugat, Les Baxter, and Antonio Carlos Jobim to name a few. The driving idea was to capture the essence of the era rather than one particular person's style.
