ALMOST RAN OVER A GOPHER -- Whiteland Raceway Park LO206 MGM Hot Lap

- My friend Steve Kilsdonk let me get a test in his MGM Espionage Kart City built Briggs LO206 racing kart (which finished 1st, 2nd and 2nd at this year's Battle at the Brickyard) to see what a modern kart chassis feels like. We went to the small Whiteland Raceway Park in Whiteland Indiana to shake the kart down. I ran for the better part of an hour, but only filmed one of my runs... in which I had to dodge a furry friend on the track.

LOOK OUT DIGGER!
Throwback haha! Looks like you were enjoying it.
digger really let himself go huh
Once fox ditched him life just got hard
Man you really need to get your GoPro angled upwards just a tad. Just driving me nuts trying to see the track lol.
Jimmy Broadbent had the same issue in the video he uploaded today.
When I raced karts, I liked to angle my Go Pro down so I could see my feet.
That’s what you get for being in Alvin and the Chipmunks 2!
Well, at least now we know this channel’s new biggest meme.
SovietOnion nah I still prefer the “Our Lord and Savior” meme for Buddy Lazier and Fred Nando Lonso.
Nah, that’s as old as the Emu War meme in Australia.
If you can, tilt the GoPro up just a little, so we can have a better view of the track coming and still see your hands and feet. Great videos keep up the great work
I've been waiting a long time for this
️🎶 I'm all right...nobody worry 'bout me️🎶
Digger now supports your local karting track after fox gave him the boot
I want to join a karting series it's one of my lifelong dreams. Looks like so much fun.
Almost had a Big Al 1988 moment
If you're going to learn from anyone Steve is the guy to do it. I need to try and get out to Whiteland next year.
Number 51? Honouring the late Doc Hudson, I see.
Dinger makes a return!
Not Dinger. Digger.
There is a kid at my local outdoor track who is a great driver. He ran over a gopher thing im not sure what it was and kept on running over the dead body.
DIGGER WATCH OUT
Gopher... looking more like a goopher (sorry that was a terrible joke)
What’s crazy is that I went to whiteland high school and this track is literally a 25 minute drive from me
That could have gotten messy real fast.
BWOAHHHH der is a gopher or something I don’t know what it is called
That is NOT a gopher, it is maybe a woodchuck or groundhog.
Gophers are the size of a mole or medium size rat; < 1lbs and do not run, they scurry. That critter was 2 or 3lbs and running.
Hope you were wearing you Hans Device...
Gopher it
#davidvsdigger
Do it for Digger!
Digger in the thumbnail triggered my PTSD
I almost drilled a Canada Goose there one time.
#51 MGM... is that Kilsdonk’s kart?
Indeed it is. It's a freaking beast.
Does anyone remember whoooooo was in the track at Michigan I think it was???
Now we've got confirmation its a groundhog
It was at Auto Club
Does anyone know what time the Indycar test starts tomorrow?
I know its off topic but cant find the info.
9 am
Ah yes, that gopher has small brain
And smooth brain
Animals always seem to run on roads with vehicles...
That was a woodchuck or groundhog or whistlepig...not a gopher!
Now go to new castle
We tried, they were closed.
David Land they’re final race was this past weekend so it might be a while before you can
Tater digger almost hit a...... tater digger.
22nd
When did this happen
Real Kart racers run two stroke engines 🤑
@Michael Jerezski, Yamaha KT100 till I die. With a pipe I may add
That kart has outrun some pretty phenomenal 2-stroke drivers, thank you very much.
Are you gatekeeping gokarts?
@@Dual_80 it's my kart and when I'm driving it you might as well call me Gandalf because You cannot pass.
@@stevenkilsdonk2046 in no way was I meaning to bash on you or any LO206 drivers. I have just been racing Yamaha since I started years ago and am too stubborn to change. (Also don't have the resourced). I have the utmost respect for your driving especially after your epic performance at the Brickyard
