Thanks for this update. I have the Inspire 1v2, so my bird is ready for the X5. Would you do a followup with more detail on the differences between the X3 and X5? It does appear this is the last upgrade coming to the Inspire 1 series.

I like the X3 better as I can sync the settings from the drone camera to the osmo handheld version and seamlessly switch between land and air shots. It's all subjective and dependent on what scenes you are trying to cover and what final video style you are after. Great video!

@@og3988 Basically you will need the handle kit for the x3, then you can use the same camera with your settings for ground use.
Damn son the X5 camera was really worth the upgrade the footage definitely had more dynamic range

the difference was NOT great in youtube compressed footage . Maybe it pops more on a pro monitor. Sure I can see a difference however it's NOT huge!

I’m getting my inspire 1v2 any day now and it seems I will be very happy that I chose the 3 over the 5. Aesthetically, the 5 is better but I just don’t see the quality difference. Thanks for the comparison

X5 does 7 HDR Stops. Get the Skydio 2 that has 13 stops.
The other youTuber said that the X3 has better video however X5 is much better photo quality
Hi, great video! I have an Inspire 1 Version 1.. I can get the X5 Osmo with 2 lenses for only $2000 (New Zealand dollars). To me it’s an amazing price. Is it worth upgrading my Inspire? I am a huge hobbyist with drones, photos and videos for the past few years. I am looking to break into the commercial market soon. Thoughts on the upgrade?

I doesn't. It has a different connection if I remember correctly.

I'd almost say the Inspire line ISN'T worth it if you are using the X3.. so great upgrade.
I definitely agree.
I get great video with my X3 and only marginally better with the X5.. Barely worth the upgrade unless you're looking for complete control of all aspects. When I shot a side by side comparison and showed it to people who've never seen a drone before, almost everyone said the video from the X3 was better..
Having the ability to change lenses is really a big plus. Also being able to compress your shots using the 25mm or 45mm really makes a difference.

Why haven't you shot the same video with 2 different cameras to compare cameras images?
You have to watch the whole video. I did a head to head to compare video.
@@TomasVillegas your image test comparing starting from 09:59 and you have shot different images from different drone cameras. not the same image and not like side by side video.

Definitely worth the upgrade if you got it at a good price. It's a pity DJI never made an Osmo handle system to match their newer line of cameras from the Inspire 2. Even the X4S would be great as it has a 1" sensor.
There is no point to upgrade from x3 to x5, mavic 2 zoom \ pro beats inspire+x3/5 easily
At night the X5 wins but for everything else the M2P is better.
Not much difference. Phantom 4 Pro V2 has superior image.
Are you drunk? No way can a P4 beat a DSLR with a quality lens on it!
