Was the re-calibration successful? Was the video that followed the actual test flight with this mod? It's extremely hard to tell what the end result was because we never got a follow-up/follow-thru with a final synopsis. It would be very kind of you to provide this to the I1 community. I found a small pickup on the mod over on InspirePilots but everything seemed to die there too. There has to be a bunch of us in this position now. This mod could potentially breathe years of life into our Inspire 1s if it works reliably. It sure would be nice if you did a 15 minute rollup of how you got there and the end result and how it worked with pros and cons. I hope you see this. Not sure if you're even watching this thread anymore. :-(
I'm interested at doing one of these mods on my Inspire. Did you ever get a bracket made for this battery? I've seen several brackets for additional batteries, but putting the battery in the same location would help offset the weight of the X5 camera up front and keep it balanced.

Is it less expensive than lets say a TB48 to make this conversion? In these days that the Inspire 1 support is basically nill and DJI might not be producing anymore TB47s or 8s it is crucial to find an alternative such as your mod, that is both economic and performs well, at least as good, however I would also look for increased flight time. Did you do Positive and neg the same as it was on board as the orig battery.
