    I can't get enough of organic evolving effects that are generated in a way that means they will never repeat exactly the same way again. This is right up my alley. Beautiful tones! Really hope they do a more studio focused stereo version - imagine having this on an aux send while mixing.

    I've never been a big fan of spring reverbs either, but I love the kinds of sounds you can get out of this. It's somewhere on my long list of things I may want to consider purchasing some day if my bank account allows it.
    I always love your videos whenever I come across them. Well-produced, honest, to the point, focusing on real-world examples rather than specifications, and always generously sharing your own way of using the equipment you demonstrate. Keep up the great work!

      @@RickyTinez I love that you pronounced it that way! I say "trem OH loh" my whole life until someone corrected me the first time I went into a studio. I had read the word on my Dad's old Gibson tube amp...Hadn't heard it spoken before. 🙌🏾

    Game changer is such a cool company, I have the sustain pedal and I’ve never encountered anything else like it; a pedal that completely changes the way I play guitar but not restricting. Some of their other stuff is a bit more specific but everything they make is really interesting

    The presentation of this thing is fantastic as well. I absolutely love the genius use of the orange and white light. It makes the whole thing come alive and you can see what it's doing. It kind of reminds me of NI's Absynth somehow. Just building these underlying soundscapes to your instruments, giving them a whole new dimension.

      Honestly, i make a LOT of these weird "i don't even know what this is" tracks. mainly during the exploration and learning stages. i think its because i'm in an anything goes no rules state

    Great video! Thanks for turning me on to this pedal, Ricky! I’m definitely going to pick one up.
    One note: unless I’m mistaken, the “Harmonic” setting refers to the series of harmonics. It’s accentuating the overtones related to the fundamental(s) being played. So you’re correct in it not being “harmonic” in the sense that it doesn’t coincide with Western Harmony, equal temperament, etc.

    God damn I love creative reverbs! Even more so when they are performative. This alongside the Death by Audio Rooms with its massive time knob on two sends can breathe life into a track so quick while performing! I kinda really wanna try the microcosm -> this -> rooms chain all on one send though 😅

    I just picked up an Aelita ( Vintage Soviet Synth ) and was looking for some really good effects to add to it. I think this is going to be the perfect reverb for it.

    Beautifully presented, thank you! Regarding the harmonic effect, each note contains harmonic overtones to infinity. The springs and spring tank add additional layers of harmonic overtones. It sounds like the harmonics function on the pedal filters out the input and mainly outputs the overtones of the springs, creating beautiful analog fractals.

    It shocked me when I first got my SLMK3 and got all the synths that most were mono, and then when I went modular it blew my mind the sound quality achieved through mono,. Granted Im working on the Praga Mixer straight out to a SSl2+ so the sound quality is Nysh, I wish Bheringer included cc information to be able to Automate more than just pitch bends

    Great review 👍 Dub Techno folks will be all over this. It has all the creative side of spring reverbs without too much of the annoying "boing" although I guess it could be pushed to that.

    Great one, Ricky! Is it just my feeling or you've been exploring different musical areas and became confident enough to share what you've found? You've shown couple of things recently, that I was not expecting at all. Like what you do with the pedal here. At times it resembles of NIN or Mogwai, but it's not the point. I like how it glues everything with this everchanging background atmosphere. Very cool.

    The biggest improvement for me would be to have a stereo in and out. I love spring reverbs, but my god, somebody please release a stereo one already. The only stereo spring reverbs I can find are rack mount units from the 80's, which are cool, but lots of maintenance is required when purchasing them generally. Great review!

    Great pedal and you can actually even engage two mod modes at once. I demo the light pedal on dub techno drums on my channel.

    It’s definitely got it’s own sound, but I generally prefer the ‘boingier’ spring reverbs. This one has a more ‘clanky’ quality, perhaps a bit more like a plate reverb? It’s still cool though.

    I am wondering what if we take two mono signals and turn them stereo is that going to create a better imagine since there should not be any phase issues when we do this and might just get some more depth ? But will we ?😓
