I have only been into Leather craft for four years so I also have a lot more to learn. The best way to learn is to keep making projects and strive to be 1% better & more knowledgeable with each one you make.

I've seen many vids that have a step of using blue painters tape on one side. What is the thought behind that step?
It is there to keep the wet leather from stretching and deforming while tooling.
