When you enjoy something, it is not hard work. It can often take her many months to complete one piece, as she only paints when she is inspired. You may have it ingrained in you that it takes hard work to do this, but that's not how Akiane works =) There is a secret to her success right there!
Why do you feel the need to discredit God when she says it is a gift from Him? What difference does it make to you? Don't push your beliefs on others. You can't tell anyone that what she says is wrong, it is coming from her. She is the one who knows where her talent comes from.

This is what happens when you’re supported by your family and have endless amounts of time. As an artists myself- I grew up in an abusive family and was forced and pushed to do things I didn’t want to do. I was never supported and therefore could not afford art supplies. So from the ripe age of two I started drawing and I hope that one day I too will be able to fully express and experiment with art without having the stress of money- to just create without having to worry about not affording a place to stay in or something to eat. She is a very lucky girl not only to have an incredible talent that was fostered at a young age but also to have the full support and love from her family. Which in turn has allowed her to expand her skills and fulfil her dreams.

I remember a child prodigy when I was a kid, she was a painter, mathematician and orator but when she got into college she exchanged painting to photography and just became a 'normal' girl around university, she's didn't fail any subject, was grateful she don't need to study harder ad longer. She just want to be normal bcos being a prodigy is exhausting and people expected a lot from her it was depressing for her. I don't doubt she still paint or wanting it but said holding a camera is more fun.

i don’t know if i’m a prodigy but i can say that i’m very good art art to be honest 💀 not trying to be big headed but just tryna back up these people’s points and prove that they’re right. ive had many compliments throughout my life although I wasn’t as good as her when I was 8, I was doing realism quite well at 13-14 (which I think is not bad ok) I’ve already given up on this passion though because like the others said it’s depressing. All my life I’ve been given compliments so the reason I am able to improve a skill so quickly and so well is because all I have in my head is to be “the best”. well “the best” ruined my mental health really. people have said I was but it was never enough 💀. times like this I want to still sell art as expensive as her but I also couldn’t be bothered to do the painting anymore. I’ve given up on it and whenever I actually MAKE the art I get very stressed because of my way of thinking. If you grow up like that it’s hard to get rid of lol

As an artist myself, I've always been mesmerized by the Wyeths' paintings. She is absolutely right up there in their league! Why hasn't she been more in the spotlight?! Just because she's so young, maybe? I certainly will be keeping an eye out for her in the future.

my mom thinks drawing is stupid she tells me I shouldn't major in it because artists don't get paid and when she sees me drawing she tells me to stop wasting my time -_-

Know his story? Know that "God" grants a girl the ability to paint but denies food to hungry kids. Right.
Random Rob God is responsible for every good thing in this world, while Satan is responsible for all things not good in the world, because he brought the sin and destruction and broke the perfect world we lived in. He's the reason death and hatred and war and pain even exists. This is a fallen world because it is filled with sin and destruction because mankind was tempted by the enemy to walk away from all the good things God had made for them. God is not the one killing babies and what not, in fact he's the one granting us another chance to live in a perfect world (heaven). Satan is the one making us lose hope by killing babies, starting war, making us sick, and all other things that aren't good for us. God wants to give us all things good in this world and above, he doesn't want us to suffer in this world but we need to accept his offer. I don't understand why you think we believe that God is the one trying to make the world a terrible place, when you obviously must have heard of the Devil(enemy, satan etc) who is the one standing for hatred, sin and destruction etc and loves to mess our lives up and make us miserable and murder innocent babies. Satan is the "god" of this fallen world, and that's why it's so terrible. God gives us the ticket to everlasting love, joy, celebration, health, recovery etc. if we want it. Who would want to believe in and dedicate their lives to a cruel God? I truly hope you find inner peace and that you one day get to experience the love God has for you. He died for you, and nothing you can do will ever make him change his mind about loving you. He gives everyone an endless amount of chances because of his grace and love for us.
