i cant believe he can still sing this high and in a live recording! the man is a genius. if he and kai could have learned to work together, it would have been a different metal scene today imo.
He never had anything against Kai, it was him and Michael Weikath that had problems.
Thats right, Weikath have written the dark songs, and also the long and epic ones, like Halloween and Kepper of the Seven Keys. Im so tired of the peaple who critizise him, I mean without Weikath, Helloween would´n have survived after Kai left. I think he fired him because their musical differences as you said, and because Kiske became an egoistic prick at that time. We must always respect Weikath for all he has done for Helloween, and all the songs he wrote. stay heavy, and Happy Helloween! :D
Michael Holmgaard after Kai left Helloween was dead until Andi came along and saved them.
Yes i´v heard that too, dont know what is the right answer, but if Weikath fired him, he did what had to be done, Kiske were singing amazingly back then no doubt, but he became very selfish, and he meant that Helloween should go on with the style from "Chameleon" but Weikath knew that the fans didn´t like that style, personally I think its a masterpiece :/
¿Que le cuesta cantar?, que comentario más extraño, es cierto que su voz aún no recupera la elasticidad y en los tonos altos no se ven tan fresco como antes, la cosa es que aún así sigue siendo un extraterrestre, y es cosa que su voz se adapte, porque respecto a los tonos más graves, a la melodía de su voz y la limpieza ha ganado muchísimo.
Ese vibrato es muestra de un control de la voz brutal. Técnicamente el Kiske actual se mea en el Kiske de Helloween, no obstante es obvio que tiene menos voz... Pero vamos, entre los años y el tiempo que ha pasado cantando de otras formas pues...

i agreed, but compare a song from avantasias album 2013 "where clock hands freeze" to "ghostlights" from 2016, it sound much better nowdays imo

no esta a prueba, es un hecho que sigue con la misma potencia, y para prueba es que no han bajado un solo tono instrumental, eso no te dice nada

I would´t say that Weikath where the prick here, he just did what he had to. Kiske got, as you said, a bit egoistical, and he would´t make metal anymore, therefor, Weikath had to change the way everything was. Weikath hold the band together after Kai left, and i just think that peaple should give him the respect he deserves, and he rode some killersongs along with Kai, without him, the band would truely die. Of cause, I mis Kiske , he is along with Bruce Dickinson the best vocalist in the world.
At least we are sure that Weikath and Deris watched this clip
Weikath did not fire Kiske, he decided on his own to leav the band.
Actually he DID fire Kiske, Kai was the one that decided to leave on his own.
Thats just him doing a vibrato, he does it on the last 2 or 3 beats of a good majority of his long holds

5:15 he looks like Elvis The King!! His voice maybe is no so higher now, but he can sing a lot of better with regular range, maybe he must use this more for melodic hard-rock songs!

What's going on? Every time he stretches the note in "a world that's full of love" his voice sounds really weird, almost strained. I hope this is just a recording artefact

i so agree.. he is a vocal god but what the hell happend with his vibratto??? sounds like his feet is in a bucket of cold water..

Come on, people, for god's sake, decades after this song was sung for the first time and he still can sing it like that and you guys still complain? Try to sing something like that today and then 20 years in the future to see what time can do to your voice...
Dear MrMickey. whether i disagree or not with, you must be veridic.. Kai Hansen wrote Halloween.. so please, catch up and then start writing. and.. i'm not a Kiske lover, just a faithful fan. I agree with you when you state the band would sank down. But. you gotta remember the Weiki did not fire only Kiske, but rather Kai left because of his attitude toward the rest of the guys, and also fired Ingo, and thanks to Ingo helloween is called hellowen today!!! and.. even more..

Flamel the Deris Helloween has some great albums. Obviously it was the best with Kiske and Kai but you're missing out
es es cierto, la primera parte, antes de subir de tonos, es una delicia, recuerda a Elvis, una viz limpia y envolvente, luego al subir no está como antes, pero aún así lo hace muy bien, pero eso vibrato extraño q tiene mania de soltar en los agudos al final lo estropea un poco para mi :(
