  • GW faced Dayton in their last home game of the season. Yuta was one of the most dynamic players in this game (and he has always been like this for the whole season). Offensively, he looked extremely confident and assertive, making tough shots, smart decisions, and beautiful passes. Defensively, he's always guarding the top guard on the opponent's team, and his length made the 1-3-1 defense extremely hard to play against.
5-GAME WIN STREAK!!! Let's hope the momentum will carry over to the A10 Tournament, winning the Tournament will be the only chance for GW to join the big dance.

Leave a comment below and let know how you feel about Yuta's future. Should he challenge the NBA? Should he go back to Japan and play in the B-League? Should he go to Europe or China?

Yuta will no doubt get a shot at the NBA. Teams would love to have a 6'9" 6'10" SG who's an elite defender at every position and can score from inside and out.

His scoring ability is a bit limited in the NBA. But as a Raptors fan his defense has been very good for the Raptors. As well has his hustle and energy.

If he isn't drafted (which I think he will because of his skillset and defense), he will get a Summer League invite for sure. Mark Cuban of the Dallas Mavericks is always looking for an international prospect to develop. The Mavs will be interested in him for sure.
