I've been a machine knitter for nearly 50 years. I'm so happy to see your clear instructional videos to aid a new generation of machine knitters. You do a great job, keep up the good work!

I enjoy your videos very much! I just finished the sweater from your intro series today. I'll have to try this project to practice ribbing. I would love to see a tutorial for a cardigan. Take care and thank you!

I like your Lk 150 beginner videos. You explain things very clearly. Thank You for that. I'd like to see how to make a pocket scarf with some lace stitch transfer going down the middle and no roll edges.

6:31 not to mention, if you keep the swatch with the yarn, when you go to use that for a future project your swatch is done!

Thanks for showing a stretchier sewn bind off than the usual one. Heads up, Eucalan soap can be left in/simply wrung out.

Thanks for all your input and work! I wished I could get a LK150, but I now stand with my KH891 because I am broke xD… really would like to have a mid oder bulky gauge machine for making stuff for my kids. So this would work with a standard too - just to do more needles ?

You can do every-other-needle with bulkier yarn and very loose tension. She has a video (basically titled ‘Don’t do this’) in which she does heavier weight yarn on a standard machine. I’ve done bulky hats on my 891 with good success. Just be gentle/don’t force things. (I find that DK/3 weight is a good middle ground on the 891 - too bulky for every needle, but still gives nice bulky appearance and works easily on EON.)

LOL! I thought this said "Cow"
and I jumped right in thinking you were gonna show how to make a toy stuffed bovine. Oops. But a Cowl might be fun to try.

I think I missed it. How many rows do you do after the initial ribbing? Also how many stitches do we cast on for the adult size?

You will need to knit a gauge swatch and do the math for your machine and the yarn that you're using.

She casted on 128 stitches plus 2 for the seams if I remember right. But as she said, it all depends on your swatch. This is because you might be using a different weight of yarn than what she used.
