- Diana and Nicole share the background of the Research Like a Pro (RLP) process, how they came up with the book, Research Like a Pro: A Genealogist's Guide, and the RLP eCourse. They share an example family history research project that was accomplished by following the steps in the RLP process, working for about 30 minutes each day, as part of a 14-day challenge. This video was originally recorded in 2019.
I have listened to your podcasts and followed your blog for quite some time and I still learned new things while watching this video. Thank you so much fir the help and encouragement you give.
Omg I needed this so much!! I just started your pod cast😊
Loved hearing about your families and how you both got started in Genealogy
I love these ideas!
Thank you for the insight.
My situation is tricky. How do I check my ex husband's marriage from his first wife? I only know his information. I do not know where they got married nor her name.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you again!
Possible places to look include online marriage records (depends on the location if it will be public record) and newspaper announcements.
@suevize6853 Thank you so much! I never thought I would need this information. I regret marrying a divorced man now that I am a born again Christian. If he is her first husband as she is her first wife, then according to Scripture, nothing and no one separates their marriage unless one of them dies because they are one flesh (Matt 19:6).
This is seldom taught in churches but when we search Scripture in obedience to Christ, we find the truth as Jesus is the Way, Truth, and Life. No man comes to the Father but by Him (John 4:16).
Have a blessed day and may this message shed light to those that reads it especially single, divorced and remarriage with living 1st spouse.
So the hypothesis comes AFTER the timeline and locality guide
