- In Fort Myers, Florida, a tornado brought severe damage to homes and other properties just hours before Hurricane Milton was forecast to make landfall.
I just lost my dog recently. She was my kid. My unflinching and unconditionally loving little girl. I would feel no different if it was my child or another family member. She pulled me thru some dark times and gave me so much love. I’m glad your dogs are okay and I hope the cat makes it home. Thinking of everyone affected by this storm. People and animals.

Cats are very resilient! I hope he’s okay. When we had an attic fire, my mom thought the dogs would flee and she gathered material things and I had to grab all 3 of our dogs 2 toy poodles each hiding under beds and our Lakeland collie hid in the bathroom that was completely destroyed. I didn’t care what we lost,as long as we had them!!❤ to all victims touch by this storm.
my dad lost a dog and my cat (i was next door and he refused to stay in my place) dog ran out of the house and while my dad was trying to grab what he could ran back in..poor kitty.was sleeping in the same place as normal and died in the smoke . thankfully neither burmed at least .

2024 is the year that California has suffered the 2 strongest storms in a decade. Everyone here had to endure the pain of loss of both lives and property. I don't know what else to do, I just pray for the people there to be safe
