i'd love for you to react to the whole album. The contrast between this album and his early work is so drastic and unexpected if you only knew him for what he used to make, that being mostly cringey RUclips rap. His album "from me to you" kinda showed what he was capable of, but it seemed like he had a hard time letting go of his rap tendencies. In this album he really lets go and focused on making the best possible experience.
I'll push back a little bit on one thing. "letting go of his rap tendencies"?? Rap isn't an addiction or a problem that needs solved. Also FMTY needs more credit. It's extremely good.
@@CycleOfJudges maybe i could've been more clear but dont mean to discredit his rapping in any way. It can obviously work in this style he's created, and he showed that in idmthy. But i feel like in FMTY that he somewhat forced himself to include his rapping because he had a hard time NOT to do so, which thereby made it feel forced and maybe unneccesary even. Hope that made sense.
@@indolamine Fair. Makes sense to me. Transitioning as much as he has, knowing his fans still think they want straight rap. IDMTHY has bits of rap as well, but given how left field the album is he was probably comfortable with adding rap sections where HE wanted, where there still was some pressure with FMTY following Voice Memos.
PLEASE react to the rest of the album, you will be pleasantly surprised. If you like this track, the full album has much more to offer and is an entire experience.
PLEASEEEE do a full react of the album on your channel. i will do anything..... i think you would be blown away by it. It was so easily my album of the year last year... such a stunning piece of music, that follows this whole insane concept like described on the song. i have a very specific connection with the album that's really hard to explain and. i don't know. I think it's just a masterful work of art. has some of the craziest textures on an album too, which is something i never thought i'd outwardly congratulate someone on having. but for his music it's just so important to his style. I dunno. I would super encourage you to react to the whole thing. Whether on your own time or otherwise. If you do do it on your own time, please make a video sharing your thoughts. i think you'd have a lot to take away from it.
thank you so much for listening! im really glad to hear you enjoyed it as much as you did, seeing this pop up in my feed made my day. quadecas artistical evolution is something i have yet to see paralleled; mind boggling stuff. keep it up papa squat ✌️
you should actually watch a video of this live like you were saying because it really does sound amazing live. the band he has with him is also amazing especially the drummer and bassist.
AHHH YESS FINALLY !! So glad u checked out quadeca. Him and jane are on the same label, and help eachother out with stuff. super cool. i havent watched ur vid yet, so i dunno if u say anything about this but, i would love to see your reaction to jane's new song census designated. quadeca directed the music video, and i think it's just right up ur alley
don't know if you've heard tell me a joke by quadeca yet but if not, you definitely should. as well as fractions of infinity and sorry4dying. they all blew me away
This track never fails to have an emotional impact on me. Its one of those tracks that makes you feel sorrow and regret but also hope at the same time. Really powerful stuff and probably my favorite music video of 2022.
Quadeca releases on the label "deadAir" which is actually the label jane remover and quannnic are signed to and Jane and quad are both good friends. As a matter of fact, Jane's last music video (Census Designated) was directed by quadeca.
one of the best breakdowns of any of quads music i have ever seen! congrats, youre a new favorite, lol. i saw you also reacted to sisyphus (the reaction is next on my queue) but if you arent already planning on it (and im sure every comment is this same suggestion) i think youd be blown away by the entirety of this album, every song is perfect to me also i saw him live on tour earlier this year and youre totally right this song is kind of life changing in concert. it was one of my favorite moments (alongside opening a mosh pit to the bulgarian national anthem)
been loving the videos a lot lately! By the way, deadAir (the label to which he is signed) is the same label that Jane Remover and quannnic are signed to
my personal favourite album ever, fits to all of my little quirks in music perfectly. and a side note, a few days ago a good friend of quadeca, underscores, released her second album, Wallsocket, its an interesting concept album about transgenderism and queerness and being a kid of the internet. its pretty fun.
This Track is absolutely fantastic and This album is a masterpiece
