Hi! Things are pretty good, thanks for asking! 🤗 We’ve been visiting with family for the past few weeks and enjoying the spring weather! ✨ 🌹 I just got a bit of Double Helix Triton and some dichro….can’t wait to play! ✨😁
Since days I tryed to find out, how to make these beads. Lucky me, you've made one of your gorgeous, helpful videos right in time! I'm so happy 🎉 and thankful! 🙏🏻 Can't wait to try it myself! 🌈 Thank you, dear Robin!
That’s awesome Efeu!! 🤗🎉✨ The Universe works in the most mysterious ways! I was just commenting on Susanne’s post and her marble coincidence!! 😅👍🏽💫 I don’t know what made me start to play with this technique…but the magic is working!! 🌈💥 I’m so happy that I can help you out with this one!! Cheers to you- Robin 🌹🌹🌹
Ohh Thank you, Linda! 🤗 An old school glass artist once told me that bubbles are tiny kisses in the glass..I loved that! 💫🌹 Everything just turned pink and green here and the birds are out in full form chirping away! 😃. Hope yours is just as beautiful! 🌈👋🏽Cheers- Robin 🌹🌹🌹
I love the colours you’ve chosen for this bead. I love the way the outside‘white’ moved faster than the inside colours. Gravity twists are one of my favourites to make. Thank you for the lovely demo - really enjoyed it ( as always) xx
Hello Ginny! 😃🌸 Thanks so much!! I also love how the cane moves faster or slower depending on where it is in the bead. Lots of motion happening! ✨🌹 I’m really glad you like the colors too! Gravity swirls are so fun! Looking forward to playing with this more! Great to hear from you! 🤗 Cheers- Robin 🌹✨🌹✨🌹
Stunning. I love everything about the marble bead. You are so clever and your choice of colours add to the artistry. I really enjoy my Sunday watching you create such wonderful beads. Thank you ❤️❤️🌹💐
Hello Narakai! 🤗🌹 I’m so happy you enjoyed this one! These marble beads are so much fun to play around with! I love how the twist at the end gives it the feeling of movement…so fascinating!!💫🌹✨ Hoping you have a lovely week!! Cheers- Robin 🌈🌹✨💫
Hey! Thank you. I've got covid again, not bad, but we all know that I'm getting sick bored! This is definitely getting a try! Thanks, Robin, I appreciate you!
Oh No Morgan! 😩 That’s awful! I hope you feel better soon so you can play with this technique! (….and that it’s not as bad as before.) ✨🌹 Sending you the good happy healing vibes!! ✨🌹✨ Big Hugs- Robin 💫🌸
Hi Tiger! 😃✨ I’m so glad you enjoyed this one! 💫🌹 This is a fun technique…so many different ways to play and perfect for exploring and experimenting with colors! 👋🏽🎉 Hope you have fun with this one!💫Cheers- Robin 🥰✨🌹🌹
Hello DP! 👋🏽😃 I’m so glad you have been enjoying the demos! 🤗✨ It makes me feel so good to be able to share what little I know about the glass with you all! Thanks so much for your sweet comment and support!! Cheers- Robin ✨🌹✨🌹✨
Oh My Lord! This is amazing! You are amazing! I was cleaning out some storage boxes and I found playing marbles from when my oldest (born -90) was a kid. I was looking so deep into them and though "have to try it out into a bead" but you know, the mandrel kind of throw the thought out. And now...just days later, you show me how to! I'm so very very thankful of what you are doing here! From the root of my hear, thank you!
OMG! Wow!! 💫The Universe must have hear you and whispered it to me!! ✨😆✨ That is fascinating….I love coincidences like that! 😃😂✨ Perfect Universal Timing!!! 🎉💫. I have been playing with these for a few days and was adding a layer of dichro over the first color…but I had personal issues with each 6 of them! 😂 (I was disappointed, but this one made me happy.). I’m overjoyed that I could share how to put a marble on the mandrel with you Susanne!! YEA!!!🎉✨🌹 Big Hugs 🤗 - Robin 🌹🎉🌹🎉🌹👋🏽
Love this bead! I didn’t know you could put marbles on a bead like that, this is great!! Many thanks Robin, I will absolutely try ! I was just yesterday at a sad family reunion after the death of my cousin, way too early and abruptly…and finding your joyful bead was great after that. 🌷🌻
Hi Sonia! ✨🌹 I’m so glad I could bring a bit of joy to you during such a sad time. My thoughts and healing prayers go out to you and your family! 🌹🌸🌹🌸🌹 I do hope you try this one…flameworking can be both magical and healing, even in the darkest of times. - Much love and appreciation to you Sonia! Big Hugs to you and yours- Robin 🌹🌹🌹💫
You are a good teacher master and you are actually explaining all so well!!! Congratulations on your channel I’m a glass blower also and I’m going to start making beads cause lady’s are asking me why I don’t do any
Hello Hector! 👋🏽😃 Thank you so much for your kind message! I started out as a glass blower…and the transition to flameworking was pretty easy. I’m sure you will have no problems making beads as it requires the same skill and techniques as glass blowing….just on a smaller scale!🤗 I’m so glad you have been enjoying the demos….many thanks!! Cheers- Robin 💫✨🌹
Oh wow Robin, this bead is so exciting and there are so many ways to create interesting variations! It's so 3 dimensional! Just gorgeous!! Thank you so much for sharing this, I appreciate you 💜💜💜🌻
Hello Clare! 😃✨The possibilities are truly endless with this technique! You can really push the depth by adding cane to each layer of clear….but it’s that final Twist that just makes this whole piece sing! 🎉🌹 I’m so glad you enjoyed this one!! 🤗✨ Many Thanks!! - Robin 💫🌹✨🌹💫
Lol Beth! I want to help you with the stringers!😩 lots of practice and patience! You can use little scraps or shorts for this too! Even if you just add swipes of color you can still get a beautiful effect! Keep trying though…you will get there!! If not…I’ll send you some!😂🌹✨👋🏽 Hugs - Robin ✨✨✨
Beautiful Marble Bead...... Thanks as I did not know how to make a twist inside a bead....Can a regular marble be made this way and have this kind of swirl? Thanks again for this viedo...
Hi Kenneth! ✨👋🏽 you can absolutely make this a solid marble! You just make it off the end of a mandrel. Make sure you have 2 mandrels on opposite ends to help with the twist! (I hope that makes sense!)😂🌹 Thanks so much and Cheers- Robin 🌈💫🌹✨🌹
Absolutely love this technique and I’m definitely going to try it - is having the glass in the centre of the mandrel a lot easier than at one end?? Haven’t tried that yet but judging how much glass is in this bead I would struggle with the weight if it was at one end x
Hello Jo! ✨😃 Thank you! I’m glad you like this one! These are lots of fun to make. ✨ I learned flameworking in the middle…And I glad I did! I am super shaky and holding both ends gives me more control. And just like you said…it can be easier to hold the weight of larger pieces! My first 101 demo shows how I apply it! 🤗🌹 Good to hear from you Jo! 💫 Cheers- Robin 🌹✨🌹

I’m binge watching all the videos. I think, so far, this is my second favorite. I don’t think anything can beat the implosion bead!
Hello Beth! 🌹👋🏽 Lol, that’s awesome!! I hope you don’t get tired of my voice! 😂😂🤗
Great to hear from you & hope you’re doing well! 🌹🌹🌹
